Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The essay addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles. However, the position is not clearly maintained throughout. While you mention that you will discuss both perspectives, you fail to clearly state your own opinion on whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, which is a requirement for a high score. The ideas are relevant but often lack sufficient development; for instance, the point about 'lazy environment' is mentioned but not logically connected to the core topic of driverless transport. To improve, ensure you take a clear stance in the introduction and provide more cohesive, well-reasoned arguments for each point.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'Getting advanced by technology is good initiative thing' and 'Such as, Uber eats' are used incorrectly as transitions. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the second body paragraph where the link between job loss and 'lazy environment' is unclear. To improve, focus on using linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') more naturally and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that flows logically from the previous one.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and often imprecise. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'there will be passengers remains' instead of 'there will only be passengers' and 'no more drivers required' instead of 'no more drivers will be required'. Some terms are used in a way that does not fit the context, such as 'vividly used' to describe delivery apps. To reach a higher band, you should work on using more precise academic vocabulary and collocations, and ensure that your word forms (nouns, verbs, adjectives) are used correctly in sentences.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'there is some typical advantages'), missing articles, and sentence fragments (e.g., 'Such as, no productivity and demand for manpower'). The sentence structures are generally simple, and attempts at complex sentences often result in errors, such as 'before explain a balanced approach is a most effective'. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb tenses and pluralization, before attempting more complex structures. Proofreading for basic punctuation and article usage would also significantly improve your score.
