Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under-length, containing only 102 words, which is well below the 250-word minimum requirement. This severely limits your ability to develop your ideas or provide a balanced argument. While you state a position in the introduction, the essay is incomplete and cuts off mid-sentence. Because the task is not fully addressed and the development is insufficient, it falls into the lower band range. To improve, you must ensure you write at least 250 words, providing full paragraphs that explore both the advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles with clear supporting examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is too short to demonstrate effective paragraphing or a logical progression of ideas. While you attempt to use cohesive devices like 'Although' and 'For instance', the abrupt ending prevents the development of a coherent argument. The lack of structure makes it difficult to follow the flow of your thoughts. To improve, focus on organizing your essay into a clear introduction, two body paragraphs (one for advantages, one for disadvantages), and a conclusion. Use linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', and 'on the other hand' to connect your sentences and ideas more smoothly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is limited and contains several errors, such as 'bushes' instead of 'buses' and 'artificial roberts' instead of 'artificial intelligence' or 'robotic systems'. The phrasing 'are drive with' is also incorrect. These errors occasionally impede communication. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary and focus on using words accurately in context. Avoid repeating simple words and try to incorporate more precise terminology related to the topic of technology and transportation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that affect clarity. Examples include 'are drive with a driver' (should be 'are driven by a driver'), 'its disadvantage are' (subject-verb agreement error), and 'they started on the phone call' (incorrect preposition and tense). There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and punctuation is inconsistent, particularly with spacing after commas. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and verb tenses. Proofreading your work for these common errors will help improve your accuracy significantly.
