The main advantages of this developed technologies is to boost country economy and help to reduce road accidents which is occur by humans every year. Consequently, manufacturing driverless vehicles costs way more than a average personal salary.

In conclusion, driverless vehicles provides clear benefits on minimizing road accidents and personal flexibility. However, these advantages are counterbalanced by the rise of prize in vehicles and can be hard to maintain servicing. I believe that this drawbacks of driverless vehicles outweigh its advantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages and providing a clear position. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the argument regarding 'national income' and 'driver salaries' is not fully explained or linked logically to the broader context of driverless vehicles. While the position is clear, the supporting points, such as the claim about passengers not paying bus fares, are speculative and lack depth. To reach a higher band, you should provide more concrete, logical reasoning rather than relying on generalisations or potentially inaccurate assumptions about how these technologies function.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'However', and 'Consequently' to link sentences. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the transition 'This is because if we make all the vehicles driverless it will cut all the expenses'. Additionally, some referencing is unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help the essay read more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'driverless vehicles', 'infrastructure', and 'system error'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'accidents also issued in large amount' and 'rise of prize in vehicles' (instead of 'price'). There is also a tendency to repeat basic vocabulary. To improve, focus on using more precise academic collocations and ensure you are using the correct word forms, such as distinguishing between 'price' and 'prize'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, they often contain grammatical errors, such as 'which is occur by humans' (should be 'which are caused by humans') and 'some people may can make' (double modal). There are also frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, such as 'driverless vehicles has' and 'this drawbacks'. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are errors in the placement of semicolons and commas. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and reducing errors in complex sentence construction.
