Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages, though the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. You state your position clearly in the introduction, but the supporting arguments lack depth. For instance, the point about employment is relevant but could be expanded with more specific consequences or potential solutions. The conclusion introduces new ideas like 'privacy' and 'ecosystem' which were not discussed in the body paragraphs; it is better to summarize existing points rather than adding new information at the end. Overall, the response covers all parts of the task, but the arguments remain at a general level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'Furthermore', 'Moreover', and 'On the contrary' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'On the contrary' used to introduce a summary rather than a contrast. Additionally, some sentences are disjointed, and the flow between ideas could be smoother. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'the mentioned benefits have also some disadvantages', which feels a bit abrupt. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words would enhance the overall flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'robotic', 'autonomy', and 'maintenance'. However, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation that occasionally impede clarity, such as 'buzzling city streets' (bustling), 'takes you out' (takes you to your destination), and 'face these struggle' (face these struggles). You also rely on some repetitive phrasing. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring that your word choices are contextually appropriate. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic or topic-specific terminology would also be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('they will makes', 'they will goes'), incorrect verb forms ('Tesla is the first robotic car which introduced'), and missing articles or prepositions. While these errors do not completely prevent the reader from understanding your message, they are frequent enough to be distracting. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring consistent verb tense usage. Proofreading for small errors like 'on daily bases' (on a daily basis) will also help improve your accuracy.
