Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays peoples think that future cars, bus , trucks will be driveless . citizens travelling by these cars, trucks as a passengers. I think disadvantages of driverless vechicles outweigh the advantages.

To begin with, When autodrive mode car will start then drivers will lost there job because auto drive cars have no need for drivers , these car connect with Internet so when some Internet issues will be start then these car do accidents , The price of these car will be costly so every person con not buy it , passengers do not feel relax when they use thes cars without driver they can not feel comfortable because these cars has only machine.

However, There are some good effect of autodrives cars like as car owner give salary to driver and they checks live locations of car, autodrive car have more facilities regarding with driver cars For example In china autodrive car was starting in 2024 , According to google 70% car owners are rich with the help of autodrive cars during 2026.

In conculsion, I have written view why disadvantage is more than advantage of statement.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 188 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas, which remain superficial and under-developed. While you state a position that disadvantages outweigh advantages, the supporting arguments—such as job losses and technical failures—are presented in a fragmented manner without sufficient elaboration or relevant examples. The conclusion is also very brief and lacks a summary of the main points. To improve, you must expand your arguments with detailed explanations and concrete examples to fully address all parts of the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive start. However, the progression of ideas is often unclear due to the lack of effective cohesive devices. Transitions between sentences are frequently missing or misused, such as the abrupt shift in the second paragraph. The use of referencing is also weak, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical flow of your argument. To achieve a higher score, you should use a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') to connect your ideas more fluidly and ensure each paragraph has a clear central theme.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'cars', 'driver', and 'good'. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and awkward phrasing, such as 'autodrive mode car' instead of 'autonomous vehicles' and 'good effect' instead of 'benefits'. Spelling errors are also frequent (e.g., 'vechicles', 'thes', 'conculsion'). To improve, you need to expand your range of vocabulary by learning topic-specific collocations related to technology and transportation, and pay closer attention to accurate spelling and word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammatical range is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentence structures. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, article usage, and tense consistency, such as 'peoples think', 'drivers will lost there job', and 'these car do accidents'. Punctuation is also problematic, with inconsistent use of commas and capitalization. The lack of complex sentence structures prevents you from demonstrating higher-level grammatical control. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction and then practice incorporating complex structures like relative clauses and conditional sentences to improve your accuracy and range.
