Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the next few years all transport system which includes cars, buses and trucks will be driverless that means only passengers will travel. The advantages of this statement does not outweigh the disadvantages because it puts human lives in danger and affects directly on job market.
The primary benefits of vehicles without driver is not found to be beneficial. This is because this system entirely works on GPS and need accurate data points. For example, the recent practices shows that many accidents happen due to malfunction of system which mean that they did not able to load maps or locate objects coming in front of vehicle. As a result, a lot of people died in the road accident.
The disadvantages of this concept also take the essential abilities. Notably, individuals will be entirely relying on the artificial intelligence which means that there are chances of loosing the learning skills. For instance, nowadays in many developed countries factories focus on installing systems that overcome the need of humans. Therefore, if driving vehicles will also come in future without driver than it replaces the need of human and takes jobs of driver also.
In conclusion, cars, buses and trucks will be driverless in the future so the only people sitting inside for the purpose of travel will be passengers. It's disadvantages are more than advantages because it takes both human life in case of any virus or disturbance in system. This thing also take jobs from the people and cause difficulties for them regarding financial.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention safety concerns and job losses, the arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the claim that 'many accidents happen due to malfunction' is a general assertion that could be strengthened with more specific examples or logical elaboration. The conclusion simply restates the prompt rather than synthesising the main points effectively. To improve, ensure each body paragraph provides a clear, well-supported argument that directly relates to the prompt's core question.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly inaccurate. For example, 'The disadvantages of this concept also take the essential abilities' is an unclear transition that does not logically connect to the previous paragraph. Additionally, some sentences are disjointed, such as 'This thing also take jobs from the people', which lacks a clear reference to the previous idea. Improving the variety and precision of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') would help create a smoother flow between ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing or incorrect word choice, such as 'affects directly on job market' (should be 'directly affects the job market') and 'loosing the learning skills' (should be 'losing'). The repetition of basic terms like 'driverless' and 'advantages/disadvantages' limits the lexical variety. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and synonyms to express your ideas more naturally and precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('This thing also take jobs'), article usage ('in the road accident'), and tense consistency ('recent practices shows'). While the meaning is generally understandable, these persistent errors prevent the writing from reaching a higher level of accuracy. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical rules, such as pluralisation and verb forms, will significantly improve the quality of your writing.
