Student answer (Band 5.0)
In upcoming time, all transport vehicles will be driverless. the only individuals traveling inside these vehicle will be costumers. This is going to be the future. In this essay, i will discuss advantages and disadvantages both for that upcoming time.
Overall if we take a look at our surrounding it is not common to see cars or busses without driver but in future this thing will become common and many companies even started working on it and they had gain almost so much success in it.
for example: the company tesla had already achieved success to launch driverless cars and they worked very well as their expectations.
On the other hand, although this is a good achivement but it also effects drivers who works as a driver to earn and meet their expenses if this will be on going then drivers will be jobless and also artificial intelligence can not work as smart as human brain although it is made by humans.
In my opinion, transport vehicles without drivers will not be successful as smart as human brain and it can not outweigh the disadvantages because it can increase the risk of more accidents or while travelling any technical issue in AI based vehicle can be way too dangerous.
In conclusion , cars, busses, and all other transport vehicles without driver is beneficial but it has more disadvantages and more risks.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages, but it fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. The position is clear, but the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient detail or specific examples to fully explore the topic. The essay relies on generalizations rather than a deep analysis of the implications of driverless technology. Because the response is under-length, the depth of the argument is limited, preventing it from reaching a higher band score. To improve, you must expand your points with more thorough explanations and reach the required word count.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay has a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the progression of ideas is somewhat disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is limited and occasionally mechanical, such as the repetitive use of 'in' or 'and'. Paragraphing is present but the transition between the introduction and the body is abrupt. The referencing is sometimes unclear, and the overall flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect sentences and ideas more logically. The lack of length also makes the overall organization feel incomplete.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision expected at higher levels. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'costumers' instead of 'passengers' and 'had gain almost so much success' which is grammatically awkward and imprecise. The essay relies on basic vocabulary throughout. To achieve a higher score, you should aim to use more sophisticated collocations and topic-specific terminology related to technology and transportation. Spelling errors, such as 'achivement', also detract from the overall quality of the lexical resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('it also effects drivers'), article usage, and punctuation. The sentence structure is often repetitive, and the lack of control over complex sentences leads to errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. For example, the sentence 'if this will be on going then drivers will be jobless' is structurally weak. Improving your control over complex sentence forms and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy will help raise your score.
