From a decade, technology has grown significantly. In many sectors, technology has replaced human beings specifically in a repetitive tasks. Therefore, many people believe that in future, all private and commercial vehicles such as cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. However, this predicament has more merits than its demerits. This essay will give reasons to strengthen my position.
To begin with, driverless vehicles can reduces the accident rates and improves the safety. As the driverless car works on well programmed algorithm, vehicles will not break any traffic rules. At present, majority of road accidents are caused due to disobedience of traffic rules. Moreover, it improves the quality of journey. As a result, many drivers will loose their jobs. In a country like India, driving transportation vehicles like bus and trucks are the predominant source of their income.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
You have addressed the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles, and you have taken a clear position. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention safety and convenience as advantages, the explanation remains quite general. The disadvantage section regarding job losses is relevant but could be expanded with more specific consequences or nuances. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with more detailed reasoning or illustrative examples. Your conclusion is a bit brief and focuses more on a solution to the problem rather than summarizing the main arguments presented in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', 'In addition', and 'On the other hand' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly repetitive. Additionally, there are instances where the flow between sentences could be smoother; for example, the transition between the safety benefits and the tracking benefits feels a bit abrupt. Improving the variety of your linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, unified focus will help improve the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your meaning, including terms like 'predicament', 'algorithm', and 'computational power'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation that prevent a higher score. For example, you use 'predicament' incorrectly; a predicament is a difficult situation, whereas you are referring to a 'topic' or 'issue'. You also write 'loose their jobs' (the correct spelling is 'lose') and 'family person free from its duty'. These errors occasionally distract the reader. To improve, focus on learning the precise context in which words are used and pay closer attention to spelling and common collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors that occur throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('driverless vehicles can reduces', 'vehicles does not require'), missing articles ('in a repetitive tasks'), and awkward phrasing ('the driverless vehicle does not require for a driver'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions and articles. Proofreading your work for these common slips will significantly enhance your accuracy.
