Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout, arguing that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention convenience and safety, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'technological errors' is mentioned twice without specific elaboration on how these systems might be regulated or improved. To reach a higher band, ensure that each main body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation and a concrete example that directly supports the topic sentence, rather than simply restating the benefits or drawbacks in different words.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'In addition', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', to link your points. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive. Additionally, some sentences within paragraphs lack smooth transitions, making the flow feel slightly disjointed. For example, the transition between the benefits of relaxation and the mention of Japan and China could be more fluid. Improving the variety of your linking words and ensuring that referencing (e.g., 'this', 'these') is precise will help improve the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'good', 'problem', and 'fix', which limits the sophistication of your argument. There are also some issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'reach on different places' (should be 'reach different places') and 'vehicle products' (which is not the correct term for technical components). To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to autonomous technology and transportation, and focus on using words in their correct collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include missing articles (e.g., 'no need of any driver'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'if human will dependent'), and punctuation errors, such as the fragment 'In conclusion. people will use...'. While the meaning is generally understandable, these recurring errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles would significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
