The future of vehicles will definitely be driverless vehicles. Nowadays majority of cars become electric and driverless but buses and trucks are not become driverless yet. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the advantages of driverless vehicles, but it fails to provide a balanced discussion or a clear position on whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The ideas are somewhat repetitive, particularly regarding accident prevention, which is mentioned in both the second and third paragraphs. Furthermore, the development of ideas is limited; for instance, the mention of economic benefits is brief and lacks depth. To improve, you should ensure you address both sides of the argument—perhaps by mentioning potential drawbacks like job losses or technical failures—and provide a more structured, analytical approach to your main points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is somewhat mechanical. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Also' and 'As I mentioned above', the transitions between sentences often feel abrupt. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks a logical flow that guides the reader through your argument. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your ideas more fluidly, and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that directly supports your overall position.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but remains quite basic and repetitive. You frequently use simple terms like 'do other works' and 'prevent the accident'. There is little evidence of less common or more sophisticated vocabulary. To achieve a higher band score, you should aim to use more precise terminology related to the topic, such as 'autonomous technology', 'mitigate risks', or 'operational efficiency'. Additionally, avoid repeating the same phrases throughout the essay; instead, use synonyms to demonstrate a broader range of language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'majority of cars become electric' (should be 'are becoming'), 'there are lot of system are available' (should be 'there are many systems available'), and 'has already adapt' (should be 'have already adapted'). Punctuation is also inconsistent. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct verb tense usage, and the proper use of articles. Practising the construction of complex sentences will help you move beyond simple, error-prone structures.
