Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the upcoming era, driverless cars, buses and trucks will become increasingly common. While this development offers numerous benefits, it will also present certain drawbacks. I believe that, the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the drawbacks.
One of the primary advantages is that driverless vehicles will solve the problem of fare differences among different drivers. This is largely becuase, the automatic vehiles will have fixed fare prices according to distance. They demands only that ammount of fare which the authorties decide. For example, nowadays drivers ask fare according to themself without having fixed price. In future, driverless vehicles can resolve this problem. Hence, the drivless cars, buses and trucks can be more beneficial for passengers.
Despite this benefit, there are notable disadvantages. One major drawback will be that these vehicles can be misused by some people. This occurr due to many reasons. One of them is that, there will be no person who knows waht to do when some wants to go for a crime. For example, if a criminal wants to do a crime he/she can use that driverless vehile by just putting his destination. This will cause no evidence crime. Therefore, driverless vehicles can be misued.
In my opinion, although driverless vehicles can help criminals but it ca be overcome by using some strict rules. Whereas the advantages are far more then the drawbacks. So, i believe that driverless vehicles could be more beneficial.
In conclusion, even though the drawbacks will be concerning for authorties, so they have make policies to control the misuse of these vehcles. The advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the drawbacks by solving some major querries of public.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The student addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles and presents a clear position that the advantages outweigh the drawbacks. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and relies on narrow examples, such as focusing heavily on fare differences or criminal misuse. While these arguments are relevant, they are not fully developed or explored with sufficient depth to reach a higher band. The position is maintained throughout the essay, but the supporting arguments lack broader sociological, economic, or technological perspective. These characteristics align closely with Band 5.5 to 6.0 descriptors, specifically the limitation and under-development of certain ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, showing a clear attempt at a conventional structure including an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, logical progression is often hindered by mechanical and repetitive cohesive devices, such as 'One of the primary advantages is', 'Despite this benefit', and 'In conclusion'. Furthermore, paragraphing conventions are occasionally disrupted, and referencing is at times unclear or clumsy, such as 'This occurr due to many reasons'. While the overall arrangement is somewhat coherent, the faulty and repetitive use of cohesive devices places this performance firmly in Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms such as 'driverless vehicles', 'advantages', 'disadvantages', and 'authorities'. However, there are numerous spelling errors throughout the text, including 'becuase', 'vehiles', 'authorties', 'ammount', 'occurr', 'waht', 'misued', 'ca', and 'querries'. Word choice and collocations are also frequently awkward or unnatural, such as 'ask fare according to themself' and 'cause no evidence crime'. These persistent lexical and spelling errors noticeably detract from the reading experience and prevent the score from reaching Band 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in punctuation, subject-verb agreement, and tense consistency. Examples include punctuation errors like 'believe that, the advantages', spelling-induced morphological errors, and awkward phrasing such as 'they have make policies' and 'advantages are far more then the drawbacks'. These errors frequently cause strain for the reader and mean that error-free sentences are in the minority. This profile reflects the characteristics of Band 5.0.
