Student answer (Band 4.5)

Nowdays, due to busy sechedual most of the people prefer to become a passenger instead of becoming a driver. It comfarme that in future all cars , buses and trucks will be driveless.

In my point of view that demerite overlap merite, i will discuss this trend a provide a logical conclusion.

To start with, there are many disgree reason associated with it, the first and for most point is, unemployment. To explain this, when people prefer automatic vehicals such as without drivers. Then the workers who drive cars, buses and trucks to proivde good fesilities to their family. So their family could be pass into diffcult situtions.

Moreover, the another point is depending on machine. To justify this, when individuals are totally depend on machine so they are become unskilled like when the without driver cars will come into market. So the people are unknow from drivring and depend tottaly on machines. Example, such as machine have no conpermasion it will work all time good and provide safety its all depend on its fucture .

On the other hand, the first point is prevent from road problems. To elobrate this, in future when without driver vehicals come. So the fear of rule breaking on traffic light will reduce because on that time the control of car will be in the hand of AI. Additionally, the speed of a vehical also will control which prevent to accidents .

To conclude, although the numerous point is when auto matice vehical prevent from road issues, but also it leads to unemployment and depending on machines.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to address both the advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles, presenting a position that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. The main ideas are outlined, touching upon unemployment, reliance on technology, and improved road safety. However, the development of these ideas is limited and at times repetitive or unclear due to significant language constraints. For example, the point regarding over-reliance on machines is underexplored and lacks clear elaboration. While the prompt is addressed, the overall depth of exploration aligns best with a Band 5, where ideas are introduced and supported only minimally or superficially.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay is organized into distinct paragraphs with basic introduction and conclusion structures. However, the overall progression and logical flow are heavily disrupted by awkward phrasing and mechanical use of cohesive devices. Phrases like 'To start with', 'To explain this', and 'To justify this' are used repetitively and often inappropriately, creating an unnatural and disjointed reading experience. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs is weak, and referencing is frequently unclear, meaning the overall arrangement warrants a Band 4.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The lexical range is very basic and heavily restricted, containing numerous severe spelling and word choice errors ('Nowdays', 'sechedual', 'comfarme', 'driveless', 'demerite', 'merite', 'disgree', 'vehicals', 'proivde', 'fesilities', 'unknow', 'drivring', 'tottaly', 'conpermasion', 'fucture', 'elobrate', 'matice'). These lexical errors are pervasive and frequently cause severe strain and confusion for the reader, matching the core descriptors of Band 4 where vocabulary is basic, repetitive, and plagued by errors that impede understanding.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

Grammatical control is extremely weak throughout the text. There is a very limited range of sentence structures, and almost every sentence contains major structural errors, incorrect verb forms, or missing punctuation. Examples include 'In my point of view that demerite overlap merite, i will discuss this trend a provide a logical conclusion' and 'So the people are unknow from drivring and depend tottaly on machines.' Errors are so frequent that they constantly distort the intended meaning and make the text very difficult to process, which is characteristic of Band 4.
