IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In the future all cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. The only people travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers.

Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the upcoming era, all vehicles such as cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. The passengers will be the only human in the automobiles. Although, there are few disadvantages with driverless vehicles, but the advantages prevail over the drawback because driverless cars can react more precisely to prevent accident compare to human and more convenient for commute.

Firstly, driverless vehicles are safer due to the sensers and cameras are installed all around the car, that makes vehicles even more secure and ready to any anomaly situation and react faster than human. Moreover, the integrated Ai plays the most crucial part in the driverless automobiles, which controls the every part of the car and make the decision what's occur. For instance, Tesla is the first company to make utterly Automatic cars, which drives itself smoothly on the road via utilizing sensers and camera.

Ultimately, the hardest part of the doing a job is commute because traveled exhaust the person before they reach the office, while traffic is increasing, which escalate the demand of self driving vehicles. Although, few individuals concerned regarding safety, but these driverless vehicles are moderately experimented to make them secure. For example, In driverless car, person need to set destination and the car identify the route itself on the basis of smallest path and road condition.

IN conclusion, the future will be filled with the driverless cars, which is more secure than the regular human driver in case of accident and more safer and convenient for commute.
