IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In the future all cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. The only people travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers.

Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the future all the transport will drive automaticlly. The individuals travelling inside cars buses and other transport will be passengers. In my personal opinion, the advantages of automatic vehicles outweigh the disadvantages.

One major advantages of automatic vehicles, we dont need drivers and dont give money. If we have driverless cars then we have no driver required to drive and go to the required location. In explanation, we save money if we have driverless car busses and other vehicles. For example if the transport required drivers then we give must salary and food rather than if the vehicles are automatic then we save lot of money.

Another advantages of driverless transport is it is rest less. They no need to rest, we cover lot of distance without any rest and feel batter as compare to the drivers because they need some rest and after travelling the some distance drivers must be tired and need relaxing.

It has some disadvantages like they have no feeling, they can not thought like human and not talk as well as not understand the thing like human natures. For instance, we are travel in automatic vehicles but we dont with cars and truck and can not share one problems, as well as out journey is boring. On the other hand, if we travel with human driver we talk to gather and share some personal things and out travel make more happy and funny.

In conclusion, it has some disadvantages but it has more advantages. So, we can say that its advantages is outweigh the disadvantages.
