Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the upcoming years, most of the vehicles will be driven without driver. The passengers are only person to be travelled in the vehicles in the upcoming modern era. I think that modernized technology making the transport convenient and safe. Offcourse, this features has more merits than demerits. The autopilot feature has its own advantages for the handicapped individuals. It will be also safe during the emergency situation.
Firstly the developement of the autopilot vehicles making work easier. In particular handicapped individual which cannot drive by themselves can make use of the these vehicles to move from one place to other. For example the new Tesla 426 has came with the autopilot feature, it can drive itself with just the order of the passenger. this feature is very helpful for the blind, and handicapped individuals.
Moreover these driverless vehicle can be useful in the emergency situation like in the case of code blue or emergency delivery. In the recent articles there hs been lots of death due to delays in the patients reaching to the hospital. Usually two person shas to accomodate inthe ambulance one for driving one to assisst patient. Driverless ambulance can be helpful when there is shortage of the paramedics and it can directly go the patient location and medical staff can easily access the patient without any delay.
Finally its said that in the future all vehicle will be driven without driver. The passengers are the only one left in the vehicles. The advantages its almost above the disadvantages in every way.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles, taking a clear position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. You have included relevant ideas, such as benefits for handicapped individuals and utility in emergency situations like ambulances. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive, particularly in the conclusion where you merely restate the prompt. While the position is clear, the support lacks deep extension. For example, mentioning the Tesla 426 is a good attempt at a specific example, but the explanation remains brief. This performance aligns best with the Band 6 descriptors, as you address all parts of the task with relevant ideas, though some areas remain under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
Your essay demonstrates a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion. You have attempted to use cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'Finally' to structure your ideas. However, paragraphing is somewhat erratic, with very short, isolated sentences and a very brief final paragraph. Additionally, referencing is sometimes unclear, as seen in phrases like 'the developement of the autopilot vehicles making work easier' where logical links between sentences can be mechanical or abrupt. These issues place your text squarely in the Band 5 to 6 range. Because the overall organization is clear enough to follow despite faulty or mechanical cohesion, a score of 5.5 is appropriate.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'handicapped individuals', 'emergency situation', and 'paramedics'. However, there are noticeable word-choice errors and awkward phrasing throughout your response, such as 'driven without driver', 'The passengers are only person to be travelled', and 'code blue'. Spelling errors are also present, including 'developement', 'accommodate inthe', and 'hs been'. These lexical inaccuracies and non-standard collocations cause some hesitation for the reader, fitting the Band 5 descriptor where vocabulary is limited yet minimally adequate, with errors that occasionally impede smooth reading.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Your essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('most of the vehicles will be driven', 'handicapped individual which cannot drive'), missing articles ('in emergency situation'), and incorrect prepositions ('go the patient location'). Punctuation is also neglected in places, such as missing commas after introductory transition words. Although these errors do not completely obscure your message, their frequency prevents you from achieving a higher band. This performance reflects the Band 5 descriptors, characterized by a limited range of structures and frequent errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader.
