Advancement of technology brings a lot of lifestyle upgrades. It is believed that in future all transportation like cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. Only passangers will be travelling inside this driverless vehicles. In my opinion this has a lot of benefits in comparison to disadvantages.

Starting with the advantages, firstly the time allocated for driving can be used for performing some other productive work inside the vehicle, this will improve the management of time. Secondly, visually impaired people can enjoy their ride more calmy. Driveless vehicles would benefit older generation or physically challenged people to travell without worries. These cars definitely targets a wider range of customers thus its demands will increase in the future. For instance, Tesla is the most popular car around the globe due to its competency in safer driving capabilities in comparison to normal cars.

Despite minor mishappenings driverless cars are benficial in reducing road injuries with the use of better technology. For example, these cars detect an obstacles that is ahead and instantly redirect or reduce the speed of the vehicles making the journey safe ansd sound.

This builds a sense of reliability and reasures the passangers to enjoy their rides. People are more drawn towards these vehivles for better travel experience, thus its advantages surpasses the disadvantages

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages, culminating in a clear position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Ideas are extended with relevant examples, such as mentioning Tesla and how driverless vehicles benefit visually impaired or older generations. However, some arguments lack deep development, remaining somewhat general, which places this response comfortably in the Band 6 territory. The conclusion also succinctly restates the writer's stance.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay is coherent overall with a clear progression of ideas across paragraphs, moving from introduction to advantages, disadvantages, and conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct themes. Cohesive devices such as 'Starting with the advantages', 'Secondly', and 'However' are employed to guide the reader through the text, although referencing and linking can occasionally feel slightly mechanical. Overall, organizational structure is logical and easy to follow throughout the response.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'visually impaired', 'competency', and 'mishappenings'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'passangers', 'ehich', 'adressed', 'benficial', 'ansd', 'reasures', and 'vehivles'. While these errors do not severely impede communication, they prevent the lexical score from reaching Band 7. More precision in collocations and accurate spelling are needed for a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The writer demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional structures such as 'when cars detect an obstacles'. There are, however, several grammatical and punctuation errors present, such as 'these vehicles' versus 'this driverless vehicles' and 'detect an obstacles'. Punctuation is also flawed in places, such as missing commas after introductory transition words ('Starting with the advantages, firstly...'). These errors are frequent enough to detract from grammatical control, though they rarely impede overall communication, aligning well with the Band 6 descriptors.
