Student answer (Band 5.0)

In my opinion the AI is going to be more advance in future its going to cover many type of jobs which humans are doing right now.

Moreover, there are many advantages and disadvantages of AI like automatic cars are very good for womens privacy and if any vehicles get stuck on the road it is impossible to fix for Ai.

Firstly , there are many drivers depends on driver jobs they have no anothe skill to do and job. There are many advantages of AI cars buses and trains are going to be driverless. For example to run a transport business you dont need any member to lookafter and control any thing. The production of vechicles in going to increase. The drivers always come late and this thing is going to solve the problems. The cost of salary is going to finish which is a good effect on money saving. The drivers have also health problem thats way some time they bring local transport late which is going to be solved. The money of profit is going to increase in a laeg number.

Secondly, there are also many disadvatages. If your car, bus or truck makes any problem AI will neaver going to help you. This thing connot control any tough satuation. For example if a small boy or girl come on street suddenly it is impossiable to control your car in fast speed. Some time there are network problem which will effect big transport businesses and can cause to lose profit. The cost of driverleass vehicles id too much which is not good for the business.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles, though the position is somewhat simplistic and ideas lack deep extension. The writer attempts to cover multiple aspects such as job losses, safety benefits, cost savings, and technical limitations like handling sudden obstacles or network failures. However, several points remain under-developed or expressed superficially, such as the claim regarding women's privacy. The arguments presented are generally relevant to the topic, but the overall development suffers from brevity and a lack of specific real-world examples beyond general hypotheticals. While all parts of the task are touched upon, the lack of thorough explanation and a clearly sustained personal standpoint keeps this performance at a Band 5.0 level.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay displays some basic organisational structure with discernible introductory and body paragraphs, utilising transition markers like 'Firstly' and 'Secondly' to signal shifts in arguments. However, the overall logical progression is frequently disrupted by abrupt jumps between ideas and poor paragraphing choices, particularly in the introduction and second body paragraph where multiple disparate points are crammed together. Cohesive devices are often used mechanically or inaccurately, and referencing pronouns lack clarity at times. For instance, phrases like 'this thing' create ambiguity regarding what is being referred to. While the text is divided into paragraphs, the internal cohesion is weak, resulting in an overall coherence that aligns with a Band 4.5 to 5.0 descriptor.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on high-frequency words and simple phrasing such as 'many advantages and disadvantages' and 'good effect on money saving'. There are numerous word choice and spelling inaccuracies, including 'advance' instead of 'advanced', 'womens' instead of 'women's', 'anothe' instead of 'another', 'vechicles' instead of 'vehicles', 'neaver' instead of 'never', 'satuation' instead of 'situation', 'impossiable' instead of 'impossible', and 'driverleass' instead of 'driverless'. These lexical errors, combined with awkward collocations like 'increase in a laeg number', noticeably strain the reader and restrict the range of vocabulary to a minimally adequate level, fitting the Band 4.5 description closely rounded to 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The student demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and basic subject-verb-object patterns. Attempts at complex sentences, such as conditional structures ('if your car... AI will neaver going to help you'), are frequently faulty and display severe tense and agreement errors. There is a persistent lack of control over basic syntax, evident in run-on sentences like 'There are many drivers depends on driver jobs they have no anothe skill to do and job.' Punctuation is also problematic, with missing apostrophes and erratic comma usage. Frequent, heavy errors across all major grammatical categories cause significant difficulty for the reader, placing this response firmly in the Band 4.5 to 5.0 range.
