Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, there are huge traffic everywhere that causes many accident. Some people beleive that in future all the cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. I think that is useful but also causes many tensions.
If all the cars and other things will be driverless that will be very beneficail for those people who is not interesting in driving. Furthermore if that facility will be in next days the traffic of cars will be low and also reduce road accidents. In addition, that will be very useful for busy person that have no time for their childrens to pick them into schools. They will be make life more easier and these cars will be reach the person to their exact position.
There are also drawbacks as well. Some people beleive that make life tough the reason is that if cars are driverless some people can not afford that type of cars. However, there will be reduce more traffic which causes more accidents. Individauls will not offcus on their physical exercise because it a type of physical exercise to drive by self. Some individual not agree with that type of change in future.
In conclusion, I also agree if in future cars, buses and trucks will be driverless but some individual interesed in drivers car . On my prospective, its person choice to how to doing travel.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt by discussing the advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles, presenting a basic position. However, the word count is 226 words, which fails to meet the minimum requirement of 250 words. As a result of this under-length penalty, the development of ideas is restricted. While the writer mentions points such as reducing traffic and accidents, as well as drawbacks like cost and a lack of physical exercise, these ideas remain underdeveloped and lack specific supporting examples. The conclusion also introduces somewhat muddled thoughts regarding personal choice. According to the descriptors for a Band 5, the task is addressed only partially, and the position and ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at a conventional structure. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and unclear referencing. For instance, in the second paragraph, phrases like 'if all the cars and other things will be driverless' and vague pronoun references such as 'that will be very beneficail' create a mechanical and sometimes confusing flow. Cohesive devices are used repetitively ('In addition', 'However', 'In conclusion'), and paragraphing is rather basic. Overall, the arrangement shows some organization, but cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical, aligning best with Band 5 descriptors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently impeded by noticeable spelling errors such as 'beleive', 'beneficail', 'offcus', 'interesed', and 'prospective'. The student relies on everyday words and struggles to use less common lexical items accurately. Phrases like 'busy person that have no time for their childrens to pick them into schools' demonstrate limited control over collocation and word choice. There are also persistent issues with word forms. Because the vocabulary is restricted and noticeable errors cause some difficulty for the reader, this performance corresponds to a Band 5 in Lexical Resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The writing demonstrates a very limited range of structures, heavily relying on simple sentences joined by basic conjunctions. Attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty, such as 'Some people beleive that make life tough the reason is that if cars are driverless some people can not afford that type of cars.' Grammatical errors are frequent throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'there are huge traffic' and 'some individual not agree', alongside persistent tense confusion. These errors cause noticeable difficulty for the reader, making a Band 4 or Band 5 appropriate, with the occasional attempt at a complex sentence pushing the score to a 4.5.
