Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is assumed that in near future every sort of transportation will be driven by the Artifitual Intellegence (AI), while only the passanger one will be driven by the humans. Although there are plenty of pros for this transformtaion, soem concerns are over there to address. I strongly agree with the notion that the benefits are more than the losses of this adaptation.
One of the compelling reason to adopt the AI in transportation is to overcome with the traffic hazards and accidents held becaue of the mistakes of the humans. To epitomise, several researches depicted that the reseason behind most of the accudents are human faults like usage of mobile, drinking, drifting at messy roads etc. Hence, these losses will be mitigate by the usage of AI and rough driving and other challenges will be resolved. Moreover, tnot only the problem of the rush will be tackled with this conversion but also the fair will be reduced as the human errors also cause the distractions and rush which are artifitially made caused delays in works and the modern technology is so much cheaper and eaasy to handle.
That said, is not mitigating all the perspective to see the future as the major concerns about the limitation and the control of the AI are yet to resolved. For instance, the thoughts of AI experts are growns higher in the recent tume as the AI is taking his descions own its own and this trend is so alarming. As one of the expert just tried to shut of a program but he saw that program just manuplate him and denied to shut off by overpassing the instructions. Therefore, we have to find out the complete contril of AI or to develope the switch off button if in the the future its try to surpass the huamn instruction then we are the one we have the ultimate descion to make not the device. Otherwsie one can not even imagine how this tech destrction will be stopped.
In Coclusion, there is no reservation about the ease and siginficance of the AI but about its practicallity and control. It can be resolved if the technologists will find out the answer of the question as who is it the ultimate decider.

| Criterion | Band |
|---|---|

| Overall | 5.5 |
Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles, ultimately presenting a clear personal position that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. The ideas are generally relevant, covering safety improvements, traffic reduction, and technological control issues. However, some arguments lack full development and suffer from unclear expression. For instance, the discussion regarding the control of AI relies on vague anecdotes rather than well-supported analytical reasoning. While the position is clear throughout, the support for the ideas remains somewhat limited and requires greater depth and precision to reach higher band levels. This performance aligns best with the Band 6 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a recognizable introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used to separate distinct ideas, such as the advantages in the second paragraph and the disadvantages in the third. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. There are noticeable issues with referencing and logical connectors, such as "That said, is not mitigating all the perspective to see the future", which creates confusion. Furthermore, transitional phrases are sometimes awkward or overly repetitive. While the overall progression is discernible, the management of cohesive devices lacks the flexibility and accuracy required for Band 7, placing this response firmly at Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to communicate main ideas about artificial intelligence and transportation. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as "transformtaion", "mitigate", and "practicallity". However, there are numerous spelling errors throughout the text, including "Artifitual Intellegence", "passanger", "transformtaion", "reseason", "accudents", and "desicion". In addition, some word choices and collocations are unnatural, such as "fair will be reduced" instead of "fares will be reduced" and "tech destrction". These lexical errors and spelling mistakes occasionally impede communication, which reflects the characteristics of Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some control over sentence structure. Examples include conditional and relative structures like "Although there are plenty of pros for this transformtaion, soem concerns are over there to address." However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in verb tense, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions. Sentences such as "One of the compelling reason to adopt the AI in transportation is to overcome with the traffic hazards" and "the thoughts of AI experts are growns higher in the recent tume" highlight persistent issues. Punctuation and article usage are also flawed. Because these errors occur frequently and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, a Band 5.0 is appropriate.
