Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, technology has increased in such a way that it has taken over all the human work and made people rely on innovations. Especially in mechanical sector, new advancement is coming day by day which includes driverless cars, buses and other vehicles.
Firstly, there are advantages as well as drawbacks of driverless vehicles but personally i think that advantages of driverless vehicles does not outweigh the disadvantages. The main reason is the risk of human's life. For instance, if any technical issue comes while driving driverless vehicle, it will not be able to figure it out how to over come the situation while, on other hand if a human is driving a vehicle then he/she can easily run their mind and tackle the situation. This example shows that we cannot completely reply on machines and automation.
Moving forwad, one question arives in our mind that is this the only reason? No, another reason worth considering is the health of people. For example, if people will start using driverless vehicle then they will become more lazy and will fully depend on tech which might effect their health, both physical and mental. Initially, they will enjoy using such vehicles then gradually they will release the impact of it. Moreover, advancement is increasing the rate of unemployment which is effecting the economic growth of the country.
In conclusion, every technological development have its own benefits and drawbacks. Its on us how we are considering these development in our lives. New innovation are going to grow in future but it is crucial to understand that we should not rely on it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The student addresses the task by stating a clear position that the disadvantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the advantages. Ideas are presented regarding technical safety risks, health implications, and unemployment. However, the development of these ideas remains somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the argument regarding technical failure is supported by a general statement without concrete elaboration from external knowledge or real-world examples. Similarly, the points about health and unemployment are introduced but lack deep extension. While the prompt is adequately covered to reach a functional level, the overall treatment of ideas sits squarely within Band 6 because arguments are somewhat under-developed and lack the fully extended support required for higher bands.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, moving from an introduction to body paragraphs discussing distinct points, and a concluding remark. Cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Moving forwad', and 'In conclusion' are utilized to signpost the structure of the text. However, referencing and transitions are at times faulty or mechanical. For example, 'Moving forwad' contains a spelling error and introduces the second body paragraph awkwardly. Furthermore, the progression between sentences occasionally feels disjointed, as seen in the abrupt shift from technical issues to economic growth within the body sections. Paragraphing is used sufficiently and appropriately, but the management of cohesive devices keeps the score at a solid Band 6.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, demonstrating an attempt to incorporate less common items such as 'automation', 'unemployment', and 'economic growth'. However, there are notable spelling errors ('forwad' instead of forward, 'arives' instead of arrives, 'release' instead of realize, 'effecting' instead of affecting) and awkward word choices ('run their mind', 'rely on tech'). These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they occur with enough frequency to prevent the writing from achieving a Band 7. The lexical range is minimally sufficient to convey the writer's ideas, fitting the criteria for Band 6 where vocabulary is adequate but contains noticeable inaccuracies.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The student demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional and relative structures ('if any technical issue comes while driving driverless vehicle, it will not be able to figure it out'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors and article omissions, such as 'risk of human's life', 'driverless vehicle' (countable noun used without an article or plural form), and subject-verb agreement issues ('every technological development have its own benefits'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but minor structural awkwardness persists throughout the text. Because the errors occur regularly alongside a mix of simple and complex structures, the writing aligns best with the Band 5.5 to 6 range, earning a 6.0.
