IN MY KNOWLEDGE , THE ADVANTAGES OF THIS TECHNOLOGY FOR FUTURE BECAUSE THE NOW TIME TO ANY PEOPLE CAN COMMINECATE WITH EACH OTHER. THEY CAN SPEND A TIME WITH ON SELF SO THE THIS TECHNOLOGY WILL GOOD FOR FUTURE LIKE TRAVEELING WITH ON SELF FOR A CAR AND A BUSES . SOME COUNTRIES THIS TECHNOLOGY CAN CREAT KNOW BECAUSE OF PEOPLE CAN NOT WAIT FOR ANY ONE THEY SHOULD WORK ON TIME AND QUICK . BECAUSE NO BODY HAVE TIME TO WAIT FOR ANY ONE SO THE FUTURE ALL CARS AND BUSES WILL BE DRIVELESS IS GOOD DECISION .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response addresses the prompt minimally, and it is important to note that the length requirement is not met as the student's response contains 226 words, falling short of the 250-word minimum. Furthermore, 24 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. The writer attempts to express a position on whether the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages, but the ideas remain very limited and under-developed. For example, the student mentions points regarding communication and saving time, such as 'THEY CAN SPEND A TIME WITH ON SELF', but these thoughts are obscured by repetitive phrasing and lack sufficient support or extension. Similarly, the counterargument regarding unemployment is stated simply without elaboration. To improve, the writer must ensure the minimum word count is achieved and provide fully developed, well-supported arguments for both sides of the issue.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation into paragraphs, including an introduction, body paragraphs addressing advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and the logical flow is frequently disrupted. Cohesive devices are either inadequate, inaccurate, or overused, leading to a mechanical feel. For instance, transitional phrases like 'HOWEVWR' and 'IN CONCLUSION' are attempted, but referencing is often unclear, such as in the sentence 'SO THE THIS TECHNOLOGY WILL GOOD FOR FUTURE'. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion lacks clarity and smooth transitions. To reach the next band, the writer needs to ensure ideas are logically sequenced with a clearer progression, using a wider and more accurate range of cohesive devices without repetition.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'TECHNOLOGY', 'EMPLOYMENT', and 'UNEMPLOYED', but these attempts are marred by noticeable errors in word form, choice, and spelling, such as 'COMMINECATE', 'TRAVEELING', 'KNOW', 'CREAT', 'NEMEROUS', and 'DEFATE'. These errors cause some difficulty for the reader and impede clear communication. The range remains basic and repetitive throughout the essay. To move up to a higher band, the student must expand their lexical repertoire and ensure greater accuracy in spelling, word formation, and collocations so that less common lexical items are used more naturally and precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The essay demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentence forms. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to frequent errors that cause significant difficulty for the reader. There are persistent errors in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles throughout the text, such as 'ALL THE CARS... WILL BE DRIVERLESS', 'EVERY WORK ON THE MACHINES QUICKLY AND LESS TIMING TO GO', and 'NO BODY HAVE TIME TO WAIT'. Punctuation is also erratic. To achieve a higher band, the writer must incorporate a wider variety of sentence structures with a lower frequency of errors, ensuring that basic grammatical patterns and agreements are consistently controlled.
