Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the futures all cares, buses and tracks will be driverless. the passengers will be travel without drivers. I think this have both disadvantage and advantage. because this is easy to travel on sales and comfort to this people who want to travel alone without driver therer own self . in contrast without drivers may be Ricky to travel sometimes we can't fully that type of technology.
Initially, we talk about advantage of this development features. 8 prefer easy to people travel life. people save their money to pay driver and they save their time to travel because sometimes driver is late to reach on at time for example we are late to go office and driver is in his home and he is late to came that time we are late to reach office so drivers list features on car buses and truck have sort of easier and facility able for human life.
now we talk about disadvantage driverless features on because this have also a lots of disadvantage. because I can't trust driverless because more than with drivers in additional sometime we are not safe to travel alone like that type of vehicles we need someone to support and help for instance we travel alone with driver less car than this time suddenly we are in problem like health problem then this time we need human travellers cars conserve with human so this time we are in problem in lost our life.
in conclusion, that type of vehicle have both pros and cons. Im additional, thus driverless cares, buses and trucks give us more facilities and easy access to reach everywhere but sometime its creat problem im human life. therefore we should upgrade with time also upgrade with safely.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt partially by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of driverless vehicles, but the ideas are limited and under-developed. For example, the writer mentions that driverless cars save money and time because drivers might be late, but this point lacks full extension and relies on simplistic reasoning. The student attempts to take a position by stating that the topic has both advantages and disadvantages, but the viewpoint is not always clear throughout the essay. To move to a higher level, the writer needs to present fully developed ideas with relevant, well-supported explanations and maintain a clear, consistent stance across all body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organisation with attempts at paragraphing and transitional phrases like 'Initially' and 'in conclusion', but the overall progression lacks clarity. The use of cohesive devices is often repetitive and inaccurate, such as starting multiple sentences with 'because' or 'now we talk about'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, making it hard to follow the flow of arguments. To improve, the writer should use a wider variety of cohesive ties more accurately and ensure that each paragraph builds logically on the previous one to create a smoother, more unified overall progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary is limited and minimally adequate for the task, containing noticeable errors that frequently cause difficulty for the reader. There are many spelling mistakes and incorrect word forms throughout the text, such as 'cares' instead of cars, 'tracks' instead of trucks, 'Ricky' instead of risky, and 'trawellers' instead of travellers. The range of vocabulary is basic and repetitive, relying heavily on simple words. To achieve a higher band, the student must expand their lexical range, use less common vocabulary with greater precision, and significantly improve their spelling and word choice.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response displays a very limited range of structures, with frequent errors that often cause difficulty for the reader. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at more complex structures are faulty, such as 'because this is easy to travel on sales and comfort to this people who want to travel alone'. There are also persistent issues with subject-verb agreement, articles, and verb tenses, such as 'the passengers will be travel' and 'this have both disadvantage and advantage'. To reach the next level, the writer needs to demonstrate better control over a mix of simple and complex sentence forms and reduce the frequency of grammatical errors.
