Student answer (Band 5.5)

In Future, all transport will replace with driverless factors such as cars and buses. In future humans are the only passengers in driverless car. However it is debate that is consider.

Firstly, that is obvious factor transport will replace in future. Many countries are working on these gadgets. Most developed countries introduces driverless cars. I believe that, this is a beneficial innovation. These types of innovations are save and make people relax. Moreover, every passenger feel free to travel without any fear. It can reduce the threats such as harassment. Harassment is a common factor that every human was faced. People felt so anxious while they traveled. One benefit is that it reduces the crime rates. Second one is that it makes people more confident and share their experiences about ride.

Secondly, it will also face criticism like in future, it will be a reason of unemployment. Due to unemployment, many individuals will face lack of survival. Because in many countries, residents are serve as a driver to run a family that job fulfilled their basic needs. Moreover, due to lack of jobs they will try to commit crimes. The other disadvantage is technical problems. Because technical situation will make passenger doubtful and anxious while driver know about the basics they will fix it.

In conclusion, i believe that both factors are justified. But driverless transport has more benefits. It will improve road safety. But also it cause unemployment and have technical risks .Therefore, government should promotes this technology with proper regulations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the question and give a clear overall view in the conclusion: driverless transport has more benefits, despite unemployment and technical risks. Relevant points include reduced harassment, possible job losses and improved road safety. However, the advantages are not consistently explained: the claim that passengers will “feel free to travel without any fear” and that the technology reduces crime needs a clearer link to driverless vehicles, while the safety benefit is only briefly mentioned at the end. The disadvantages are also asserted rather than explored, particularly how technical problems could affect passengers. Develop each main point with a specific explanation or example, and make the comparison of advantages and disadvantages more explicit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for benefits and drawbacks, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph moves from innovation to harassment, crime and confidence without showing how these points connect. Some linking is mechanical, and “Second one” does not clearly identify which benefit is being added. The opening sentence is also difficult to follow, which weakens the introduction. Group related ideas, use clearer references, and explain the relationship between each point rather than relying mainly on transition words.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “driverless,” “passengers,” “unemployment,” “technical problems,” “road safety” and “regulations,” so the reader can identify the main subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “driverless factors,” “save” for “safe,” “lack of survival,” and “technical situation.” Repetition of “future,” “benefit” and “factor” also limits precision. These choices sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to understand, especially in the opening and the discussion of employment. Build a more precise vocabulary for transport and its effects, and check whether words naturally combine in English before using them.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “Due to unemployment” and a contrast introduced by “But.” However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “all transport will replace” instead of a passive form such as “will be replaced,” “Most developed countries introduces,” and “every passenger feel.” There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “Because technical situation will make passenger doubtful” and the final sentence, “it also cause unemployment.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, passive constructions and complete sentence formation. Punctuating and checking each sentence for a clear subject and verb would improve readability.
