Student answer (Band 5.0)
There is no denying the fact that now days vehicles are essencial in our lives .while it commonly belief that in the future all the ways of transport like cars, buses and trucks will be driverless.ther is also an argument that opposes it .in my opinion,I consider that disadvantages of driverless outweigh the advantages .
To begin with, driverless vehicles is dangerous and can couses cars accidents. In other words i think that driverless vehicles is not away from problems because it is created by men not god and the scientiste can make possible mistakes when they program the car so it will lead for a big financial and human losses. In addition, driverless cars will decrease driving jobs opportunities. For instance, peaple who used to work in this jobs will automatically stay jobless which is big problem we already suffer from in our daily lives.
Another point to consider, peaple have their fun when they are driving their own vehicles manually. For example, when the car drives it self it is like some kind of boring because when you drive your car you enjoy every moment in it and of cors u got the right to enjoy it .
In conclusion, despite peaple having different views,I believe that driverles cars is not good future idea and cars drive should remain mannually and .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear opinion that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, and you offer relevant reasons: possible accidents, job losses, and reduced enjoyment for people who like driving. However, the response addresses the task only partially because the advantages of driverless vehicles are not discussed, despite the question asking for a comparison. The reasons are also brief and under-developed; for example, the risk of programming mistakes is asserted but not supported with a specific example or explanation of how likely or serious this risk is. The response is 35 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop both sides. To improve, explain at least one significant advantage, compare it directly with your concerns, and extend each point with a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “In addition,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several ideas are joined in long, loosely connected sentences. For instance, the first body paragraph moves from accident risks to job losses without clearly showing how these points relate to one another. Some linking language is also repetitive or awkward, such as “Another point to consider” followed by an example that does not develop the main comparison. Use one main idea per paragraph, explain it in a logical sequence, and make references such as “it” and “this” clearly identify the idea being discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “driverless vehicles,” “program the car,” “financial and human losses,” and “driving jobs opportunities,” so the reader can generally understand your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “essencial,” “scientiste,” “peaple,” and “cars accidents”; phrases such as “stay jobless” and “big problem” are also imprecise. Repetition of “driverless vehicles” and “cars” further restricts the range. Build a bank of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise expressions such as “road collisions,” “employment opportunities,” and “loss of income” would help you express your ideas more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a reason clause with “because” and a conditional idea about programming mistakes. However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation, sometimes making the reader work to follow the meaning. For example, “driverless vehicles is dangerous” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “it will lead for a big financial and human losses” has problems with the verb pattern and noun phrase. The opening and conclusion also contain incomplete or awkwardly joined structures. Practise forming accurate subject–verb patterns and clauses, and use full stops to separate complete ideas. Proofread for capital letters and sentence boundaries as well as grammar.
