Student answer (Band 5.0)

Technology play a very crucial role in our life but sometime its be very dangerous for everyone. In the future, all companies start to making advanced and modern vehicles like driveless and only passengers will travel inside these. Moreover, there will be some advantages and disadvantges of these technology. Now i will discuss both things in my upcoming paragrapgh.

Firstly, Modern cars are benefits for some time special for that people who did not see (blind people) beacuse they did not watch anything so if they ant to go anywhere like relatives house, schools, and somewhere else then they can book driverless cars and go to their destination. Also they can enjoy their life same the normal people. For instances, in USA many comapies already lauch driverless cabs and taxi. Many people test that cars and give best review such as easy to book, more comfortable, privacy and safe.

However, there are some disadvantages also, suppose if your are travel by driverless vehciles and suddenly its any mishappening in vehicles and its hit to someone because its machine and its can create problem at anytime and anyplace. one more things, maintaining modern vehicles are too expensive. its very hard to maintain high technology cars, trucks and etc. For example, Tesla have option you can drive Tesla into automactic mode beacuse still Tesla did not give fully approval to do this.

In conclusion, driverless vehcles is benefical for some population but its also harmfull. Furthermore, its too hard to maintain their maintains

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both advantages and disadvantages and give a relevant example involving blind passengers, so the response is connected to the question. However, the task asks whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and your position is not clearly established: the conclusion says driverless vehicles are beneficial for some people but also harmful, without deciding which side is stronger. The benefits are mainly limited to accessibility and convenience, while the risks and maintenance costs are mentioned but not explained in depth. The Tesla example also needs a clearer link to the specific risks of fully driverless transport. State your overall view directly in the introduction and conclusion, then develop each main reason with a clear explanation or specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad direction. At times, though, the progression is mechanical, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the opening moves from technology in general to future vehicles without clearly introducing the argument, while “For instances” introduces evidence that is not fully explained. The final sentence, “its too hard to maintain their maintains,” does not provide a complete concluding point. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, connect examples explicitly to that claim, and finish with a clear summary of your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “driverless,” “passengers,” “maintaining,” “privacy,” and “automatic mode,” and the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make the writing less clear, such as “driveless,” “mishappening,” “benefical,” and “maintains.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “Modern cars are benefits” and “give best review.” Aim for precise collocations and accurate word forms rather than repeating general terms such as “things,” “cars,” and “problem.” For instance, describe a possible “collision” or “system failure,” and refer to “maintenance costs.” Proofreading spelling and choosing natural phrases will make your meaning easier to follow.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, for example, the sentence beginning “if your are travel by driverless vehicles,” which tries to explain a possible consequence. However, control is weak across sentence structures, and errors often make the reader work to understand the meaning. Examples include “Technology play,” “companies start to making,” “if they ant to go,” and “its hit to someone”; these show problems with agreement, verb forms, and clause construction. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly at the start of sentences. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with clear subjects and correctly formed verbs. Check each sentence for agreement, tense, and punctuation before submitting.
