Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the future, its likely that cars, buses and trucks will become driverless, meaning as that people will travel as a passengers. Although this will create some problems. But i believe the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the diadvantages.
One major Advantage is that driverless vehicles could significantly improve the saftey of roads. Human drivers can be tired, carless, distratced , which can leads serious accodent. while the automatic vehicles more can accurate in monitoriong the roads and quick response to any suddenlu apperaed accident. This can rduce accident caused by human error.
Another benifit that driverless vehicicles could make travelling convinent, easier an defficient. passenger would be able to use their travel to work, study, and relax instead of concentarting of driving. This could be particulary useful for eldrers peple who could not drive also big trucks and busses should cost low because drivers are not there.
One diadvantages is that many professional drivers, bus drivers, taxi drivers, could lose their jobs. the people who only know driving skill they dont get any suitable jobs for them. furthermore, some people dont believe on automatic mavhine and also vehicles. they prefer to drive physicall they feel more safe.
IN coclusion, the driverless vehichles could resposible for many drivers jobs and more use of technology rather than that there are advantages of automatic vehicles because they may leads more accuracy on roads and people saftey from any accodents and system become more deciplined and clean. i agree with this driverless technoloygy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and state a clear view: “the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages.” Relevant benefits include improved road safety and allowing passengers to work, study or relax, while job losses and distrust of automated vehicles are identified as drawbacks. However, some points are more fully explained than others. The safety argument gives a reason—human error—and a possible benefit, but the claim that vehicles will respond accurately to accidents needs clearer explanation. The employment point is relevant but would be stronger with an example of how affected drivers might be supported or retrained. Develop each main idea with a specific example and explain how it supports your overall judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion that restates your position. This makes the line of argument easy to identify. You also use basic linking expressions such as “Although,” “Another benefit,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion.” At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening “Although this will create some problems. But…” separates a dependent clause from its main idea, and the conclusion’s long sequence of claims is difficult to follow. Some references, such as “they” in the discussion of people who only know driving, could be clearer. Use complete linking structures and organise each paragraph around one main point, followed by explanation and an example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “driverless vehicles,” “human error,” “automatic vehicles,” “professional drivers,” and “technology.” These choices show that you can discuss both safety and employment. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “saftey,” “distratced,” “accodent,” and “convinent.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “believe on automatic machine” and “concentrating of driving.” The range is sufficient to communicate your main ideas, but repeated general terms such as “people,” “vehicles,” and “advantages” limit precision. Check spelling carefully and learn topic-specific collocations, for example “trust automated systems” and “focus on driving.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “Although” and a relative clause in “people who only know driving skill.” The main ideas are generally understandable, but errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and verb forms recur. For example, “Although this will create some problems. But…” is not a complete, correctly joined sentence, while “which can leads” and “passenger would be able” show problems with verb agreement and number. The final sentence also joins several ideas without clear punctuation, making the relationships between them hard to follow. Practise building accurate complex sentences with one clear main clause, and check subject–verb agreement, singular/plural forms, and sentence boundaries during editing.
