Student answer (Band 5.0)

Technology is getting advanced day by day. In the upcoming years all vehicles like car, buses and trucks able to seems driverless,. The inside the vehicles only passengers may seen travelling.I staunchly agree that merits overlap demerits for which vindication would be elaborated in upcoming paragraphs.

To commence with, there are several merits associated with it. The first and foremost is, it is very helpful for old people. To explain it, the old aged people who wants to travel somewhere far from the city without any problem they can travel from one city to another by sleeping at bavck seat. Moreover, Ai follows the traffic ruls. The mumber of accidents will reduce. For example, In our country there are some people who do not follow the rules and drive without license.

Moving further, it is very helpful for businessman. They have to travel for business meeting and they do not have trusted drivers for night travelling. Ai is very good for them. They can enjoy night travelling by just relaxing at back seat. The cars stays in limit do not across the speed limit.

on the other hand, there are som demerits associated with it. not everyone can afford the ai vehicles. The vehicles with this full technology are very expensive. Can;t trust on this type of technology blindly.

Conclusion, after taking all the aspects in my consenderation, i would like to emphasize that, driverless vehicles are very helpful for businessman and od people. but negative can not be avoided

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall view that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and your points about older people, business travellers, and reduced accidents are relevant to driverless transport. However, the response addresses the comparison only partially: the advantages receive more attention, while the disadvantages are limited to cost and a brief statement that the technology cannot be trusted. Several ideas are asserted rather than explained—for example, how AI following traffic rules would reduce accidents, or why older people would benefit specifically. The conclusion repeats the position but does not weigh the two sides. To strengthen the response, explain each point with a consequence or example and make the comparison between benefits and risks explicit throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting advantages, a paragraph on disadvantages, and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall route through your argument, and phrases such as “Moreover” and “on the other hand” signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical or unclear. The opening sentence contains several ideas joined together, and the business-travel paragraph repeats the point about relaxing in the back seat rather than developing a new supporting detail. Some links, such as “Moving further,” do not clearly show the relationship between the points. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each explanation directly to the claim it supports; ensure the conclusion follows from a balanced discussion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “driverless,” “merits,” “demerits,” “traffic rules,” and “technology,” so the reader can generally identify the subject and your main points. However, the range is limited and several choices or combinations are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “merits overlap demerits,” “old aged people,” and “night travelling.” There are also spelling errors such as “bavck,” “ruls,” and “consenderation,” alongside inconsistent use of “AI.” Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, use “the advantages outweigh the disadvantages,” “older adults,” and “travel at night” to express your ideas more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a relative clause in “people who wants to travel somewhere far from the city.” However, control is limited: many sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, or sentence construction, and these can make the reader pause. For example, “all vehicles like car, buses and trucks able to seems driverless” lacks a correctly formed verb phrase, while “The cars stays in limit do not across the speed limit” has problems with agreement and clause structure. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in the opening and the final paragraph. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement and complete verb phrases.
