Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the future, predicted that all the busses and cars are driverless. Although this development may create some problems. I believe that the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages because they can improve road safety and make transportation safe.

One major advantages of driverless vehicle they reduce road accident most accident are performed by human error, such as over speeding and use of mobile while driving. However, self drive vehicles are often use advance technology. They don,t break traffic rules and never cross traffic lights without seeing. As a result people enjoy safe ride. For example, passenger can read book and complete office work without any stress.

On the other hand, driverless vehicle also have some disadvantages. Firstly this technology may be very expansive to maintain. secondly, many professional drivers lose their jobs. companies would no longer need human drivers. This could increase unemployment for many families.

In conclusion off, driver less vehicle are benifical they reduced accident. In the other hand driverless transportation born unemployment

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall view that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you identify relevant points on both sides: fewer accidents, safer journeys, maintenance costs and job losses. However, the response addresses the task only partially because these ideas are stated briefly rather than explained and supported. For instance, you say that automated vehicles reduce accidents through avoiding human error, but do not explain how reliable this technology is or consider possible system failures. The example about reading or working during a journey is relevant but not clearly connected to your main safety argument. The conclusion also does not clearly restate that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The response is 159 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum; develop each point with explanation and a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

Your response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph about advantages, a paragraph about disadvantages and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand” and “For example” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some connections are unclear or mechanical. The opening fragment, “Although this development may create some problems,” is not joined to a complete main clause, while “In conclusion off” and “In the other hand” make the final transition difficult to follow. The conclusion introduces no developed summary and does not clearly resolve the comparison. To improve, organise each body paragraph around one main point, explain it in a logical sequence, and use accurate transitions and clear references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “driverless vehicles,” “road safety,” “traffic rules,” “professional drivers” and “unemployment.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of your ideas. However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation and spelling errors reduce precision, such as “accident are performed by human error,” “very expansive to maintain,” and “transportation born unemployment.” There are also inconsistent forms such as “driver less” and “self drive.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations—for example, say that accidents are “caused by human error” and that vehicles are “expensive to maintain.” A wider range of precise terms, used consistently and correctly, would make the argument clearer and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a few different sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “Although” and a cause-and-effect sentence beginning “As a result.” However, the range is limited, and attempts at more complex structures are often faulty. The opening, “In the future, predicted that…,” lacks a clear subject and verb, and “Although this development may create some problems” is a dependent clause presented as a sentence. Agreement and sentence construction are also problematic in “One major advantages of driverless vehicle they reduce road accident” and “driverless vehicle also have some disadvantages.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, including “secondly” after a full stop. Practise complete sentences, subject–verb agreement, articles and plural forms, then check each sentence for a clear grammatical structure.
