Student answer (Band 5.0)

These days, it is generally believed that in the future all cars, buses and trucks will be driverless.this can have both advantages and disadvantages however in my analysis, I find that there are more advantages that disadvantages in this eassy,I will attempt to prsent some positive and a few negative aspects of this in future only people travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers.

To begin with there are several merits of all cars buses and truck will be driverless one of them is that in future tecnology advancements will make people's live more convenient and enable them to carry out their daily activities more efficiently. It can be gratly beniefical to individual and the society.for instance,Accidents number will be significantly decreases moreover passengers can save the time because they do not need to focus on driving, futurermore, it should also be noted that if in the future technology developed some kind of things who will be driver for people, it will make everyone's life easier and saving money moreover. To support this everything changed over the time in addition people will depending on machines. therefore, one should focus on how this can have a positie focus on how this can have a positive effect in the long run.

In contrast, despite several positive sides that drawbacks cannot be overlooked. In this regard, I would argue that one major disadvantage is that driverless vehicles may cause accidents due to technical failures which could put passengers lives at risk for example machine are not like humans begin they are machine and they don't care about human life it is totally emotionless. it seems to me these aspect should also be taken into consideration white judging the pros and cons

In conclusion, with the evidence demonstrated so far,I would the fact by stating that in the future all cars buses and truck will be driverless has both merits and demerits. Thus we should weigh several factors to determine the good and bad aspects of this.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a relevant response to the question and indicate a preference for the advantages, mentioning convenience, efficiency and the possibility of fewer accidents. You also include a disadvantage—technical failure putting passengers at risk—so both sides are represented. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening says advantages outweigh disadvantages, while the conclusion only says that both have merits and demerits and that factors should be weighed. The supporting ideas are also limited or unclear. For example, the claim that passengers save time because they do not need to focus on driving needs a clearer explanation, and the point about machines making life easier is vague. State your judgement firmly in the conclusion and develop each main reason with a specific explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph presenting benefits, a contrasting paragraph and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the broad direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and several ideas are joined without a clear relationship. In the benefits paragraph, the discussion moves from convenience to accidents, saving time, machines and dependence on technology, making the central argument difficult to follow. Linking expressions such as “moreover,” “furthermore” and “in addition” are repeated or used where the connection is unclear. The conclusion also does not clearly resolve the comparison. Organise each body paragraph around one main point, explain it in sequence, and use fewer, more precise transitions and clear references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “technical failures,” “passengers’ lives at risk,” “daily activities” and “in the long run.” These choices show some awareness of the language needed to discuss benefits and risks. However, the range is limited and errors in spelling, word form and collocation are noticeable, sometimes making meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “tecnology advancements,” “people’s live,” “Accidents number,” and “a positie focus.” Some phrases, such as “some kind of things who will be driver for people,” are too unclear to communicate the intended idea. Build a bank of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and natural word combinations. Prefer precise expressions such as “autonomous vehicles” and “reduce the number of road accidents.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “if,” and you use paragraph-level sentence variety. However, control is inconsistent: complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles and verb forms can make the reader work to understand the point. For example, “Accidents number will be significantly decreases” has an incorrect noun phrase and verb form, while “machine are not like humans” has a subject–verb agreement problem. The opening also runs several sentences together, and punctuation is frequently missing or misplaced. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas with accurate subordinate clauses. Check agreement, tense and sentence boundaries carefully during revision.
