Student answer (Band 5.0)

In upcoming world many people believes that all vehicles will be drive without any person needed, only the passangers will be roamin inside these tansportations. The essay support he latter points. although it has advanatages but the sideeffects are more which cant they outweigh them.

firdtly it may help them less hijacked vechiles cases many working parents may find it accessible to pick and drop for their family but the cons are much more than this

the main reason is this we all have believe on person driving skill beccause we knew that that the driver i profession it will gives us hope that if something bad happened the person know how to handle but we dont have believe on machines that the machines can handles the situatin immediately For instance if a person is driving a bus and some person aor another vechiles come infront of them he knows that he had to save both the passaager and other person who is inside the vechile.the driver immerdiately give the

decision .

Furthermore if vechile was drive without a driver many people lost their jobs there ane number of people who make their income on driving if these motors become driverless then then proverty become increases rapidly and there is lot more problems come with this for insatance if there are 100 of peoples become jobless they dont know how to provide their family so people are going to become more active incriminal activies i.e theft, pickpocketing

In conclusion i firmly believes that the advantages of driveless vechiles cant outweight the disadvantages of the driveerlesscar.if we want to adapt this we have to closely think about the outcomes that lead to these problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you argue that the disadvantages of driverless vehicles outweigh their benefits. You address both sides, mentioning reduced hijacking and convenience for working parents before developing concerns about safety and job losses. The examples about a driver reacting to danger and unemployed drivers struggling to support their families are relevant. However, the advantages are only briefly mentioned, and the safety argument relies mainly on trust in human drivers rather than explaining specific risks or comparing them with possible benefits of automation. The link between unemployment and increased crime is also asserted rather than supported. Develop each main point with clearer explanation and a more balanced comparison to make your response more fully developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The progression from a brief benefit to safety concerns and then employment consequences is understandable, and transitions such as “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages. However, the first body paragraph combines several ideas in a long, difficult-to-follow sequence, and the example about a bus encountering danger is not clearly separated from the explanation. Some connections are abrupt, particularly the move from job losses to criminal activity. Use one central idea per paragraph, divide explanations into shorter sentences, and make cause-and-effect links explicit. Clearer referencing would also help readers follow who “them” and “he” refer to.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “driverless,” “hijacked,” “accessible,” “income,” and “criminal activities.” These choices show that you can communicate the main subject and some consequences. However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word combinations often make the writing harder to read, as in “passangers,” “transportations,” “sideeffects,” and “poverty become increases.” Several words are repeated, especially “people,” “driver,” and “vehicle,” while some expressions are imprecise, such as “the latter points” and “the person driving skill.” Build accuracy with topic-specific collocations and check spelling carefully. Prefer natural phrases such as “driving skills,” “public transport,” and “lose their jobs” over direct translations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if a person is driving a bus” and a cause-and-effect sentence about job losses. However, control of sentence structure and basic grammar is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “many people believes,” “the driver i profession,” “the machines can handles,” and “the advantages … cant outweight.” There are also run-on sentences, such as the long safety example, and punctuation is often missing or misplaced. Practise subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries. Breaking complex ideas into shorter, correctly punctuated sentences will make your meaning clearer while allowing you to retain a range of structures.
