Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is true that, in the up-comming days, all cars, buses, and trucks will be driving by technology. The only people can travelling inside these transportations will be passengers. While this trend can have several negative effects for people, I believe that its advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
One the one hand, there are numerous advantages associated with this. One viable benefit is that people can save time as wall as money.
To be more precise, if people use driverless transportations for doing work or many occasions, people can arrive within limited time insted of calling driver. For example, by using technological transportations, people can do everything either office work or schooling. As a result, people may save a significant amount of time. Moreover, as they don't need to driver, they can save a sustainable amount of money. Thus, it can have a lot of positive advantages for individuals.
One the other hand, despite having many advantages, it offers some disadvantages. To begin with, it can make some accident, because technological problems are occered suddently. In addition, when people are tr travelling without drivers, they may face technical issues. For instance, if people dont konw how to use it properly, they might be fallen into dificulties. As an illustration, people may lose their hand or getting serious injouries. Therefore, it involves some negative impacts, which is very vulnerable for people.
To sum up, although driverless transportations lead some terrible accidents, it has numerous advantages such as, it saves money along with time, which make it more convenient for people in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you believe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and you address both sides of the question. The points about saving time and money and the risk of accidents are relevant. However, the advantages are not fully explained: the example that passengers can do “office work or schooling” does not show clearly how driverless travel itself saves time, and the claim that it saves money needs a reason, such as reduced labour or operating costs. The disadvantages are also developed mainly through a general reference to technical problems, with little explanation of how likely or serious these risks are. To strengthen the response, explain each main point and connect your examples directly to your overall judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a concluding summary. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “Moreover,” and “To sum up” helps readers follow the discussion. However, some links are mechanical, and the progression within paragraphs is not always clear. For example, the advantage paragraph moves from saving time to doing office work or schooling, then to saving money without fully explaining the connections. In the disadvantage paragraph, “For instance” and “As an illustration” introduce overlapping examples rather than distinct supporting points. Use fewer repeated signposts and make each sentence build on the previous one through clear explanation and reference.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-related vocabulary, including “driverless,” “technical issues,” “accidents,” and “passengers,” so the main topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make the writing less precise. Examples include “technological transportations,” “a sustainable amount of money,” and “terrible accidents”; these do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “up-comming,” “insted,” and “suddently” are also noticeable. Aim for accurate collocations and a wider set of terms for automation, safety, costs, and convenience. Choosing familiar words precisely is more effective than using an ambitious but unsuitable phrase.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a concession structure beginning “While this trend…” and a conditional sentence beginning “if people use…”. However, control is uneven, and errors in sentence construction and verb forms sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “The only people can travelling” needs a grammatical verb pattern, while “they don't need to driver” uses the wrong form after “need to.” The sentence “people may lose their hand or getting serious injouries” also has inconsistent verb forms and number. There are further problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate clauses first, then extend them with conditionals and contrast clauses, checking that verbs agree and follow the correct pattern.
