Student answer (Band 4.5)
In the future all cars, busses and trucks will be driverless.People can travel without driver and it is usefull for some peoples because the people travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers.
ADVANTAGE;There are more advanteges of cars, bussesand trucks are driverless.People can not want to wait for the driver they open the app and book the car for their destination and they easily go to there destination.EXAMPLE;If you want to go out of the country it is very usefull because you can sit easily without any tension because you are on a rest mode. After that according to my opinion driverless cars are very usefull in our daily life.according to the busses it is also very usefull because it comes on their exact time and people can sit from their buss station easily.
DISADVANTEGES;There are more disadvantages of cars, busses and trucks are driverless.Beacuse one of the more disadvanteges of driverless car is that if you want to go anywhere first you book the car and you start journey to go your destination and there is more traffic on the road you did not go any where because you dont have any commands.example,If you load anything on a truck you want to transfer your data and there are more problems you can face there are battery problems are any thing else you cant do their anything because there are no one any driver at that time who call to the manegment or any shop for help.Driverless cars are not very usefull because their are battery problems .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You address both advantages and disadvantages and give a relevant example involving a truck, so the response is connected to the question. However, the task asks whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you do not give a clear, consistent answer: you call driverless vehicles useful, but conclude that they are “not very usefull” without comparing the two sides. Most points are brief or unclear; for example, the benefit of arriving “on their exact time” is asserted rather than explained, and the traffic example does not show why a driverless vehicle would be unable to proceed. The response is also 4 words below the 250-word minimum; 8 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop each main point and state your overall judgement clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic overall shape: an opening, a section on advantages and one on disadvantages. Labels such as “ADVANTAGE” and “DISADVANTEGES” help identify the topic of each section, and “After that” and “because” attempt to connect ideas. However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow. The advantage paragraph moves from booking an app-based car to travelling out of the country and bus timing without clearly linking these examples. In the disadvantage paragraph, the traffic point and the truck example are crowded together, while “example” does not clearly signal how the illustration supports the claim. Use separate, logically ordered paragraphs and clearer links between each claim, explanation and example.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “driverless,” “passengers,” “traffic,” “battery problems” and “destination,” so the reader can identify the main subject of each point. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “very usefull” and “disadvantages.” Spelling errors such as “busses,” “advanteges,” “Beacuse” and “manegment” also reduce accuracy. Some expressions are imprecise or unnatural, including “rest mode,” “transfer your data” when discussing a truck’s load, and “go to there destination.” Build a more precise set of topic-related phrases and check spelling; this will help you explain benefits and risks without relying on repeated general wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both short statements and longer sentences with reasons, using forms such as “because” and “if.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but sentence structures are mostly basic, and errors are frequent enough to make some relationships unclear. For example, “There are more advanteges of cars… are driverless” has a faulty clause structure, while “People can not want to wait” uses an incorrect verb pattern. In “you did not go any where,” the tense does not fit the general situation being described, and “there are battery problems are any thing else” combines clauses incorrectly. Practise forming clear subject–verb sentences and conditional examples, and use full stops to separate ideas.
