Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
The response makes a relevant attempt to discuss benefits, mentioning passengers feeling more energetic, learning about technology, and possible savings in transport costs. However, it does not answer the central question: there is no clear judgement on whether advantages outweigh disadvantages, and no disadvantages are explained. The ideas offered are brief and some examples, such as the claims about China and Luxembourg, are not clearly connected to the argument. The response also ends mid-sentence (“secondly, most advantage of driverless”), leaving the discussion incomplete. It is 112 words below the required minimum, which substantially limits the opportunity to address both sides, develop reasons, and support a definite position. Complete the essay and state your view clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening introduces the topic, “Firtly” signals a first point, and “Moreover” adds another idea. These markers show an awareness of sequencing. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the introduction promises both pros and cons, while the body only begins discussing advantages. The final phrase, “secondly, most advantage of driverless,” is unfinished, so the response has no completed development or conclusion. Some sentences also combine several ideas without clear links, making the relationship between technology, employment costs, and free transport uncertain. Use separate paragraphs for your position, advantages, disadvantages, and conclusion, and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “driverless vehicles,” “technology,” “robotics,” and “transport,” and attempts phrases such as “brighter sides.” This gives the reader a general sense of the subject. However, vocabulary is often inaccurate or awkward, and spelling errors are frequent: “esuing,” “Firtly,” “formost,” “electrinics,” and “lexumberg” make the writing less clear and less credible. Phrases such as “work for the less salary infact no salary” do not express the intended economic point naturally. Choose precise collocations and check spelling; for example, describe vehicles as “operating without a driver” and discuss “reduced labour costs.” Avoid repeating broad terms such as “beneficial” without specifying the benefit.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts some longer sentence forms, including “Moreover driverless transport which work for the less salary…” and a sentence beginning “For example,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “people travelling … they feel” and “transport which work,” while “they aware” is missing a verb. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “the driverless busses and cars” and the run-on construction linking the claim about salary to the country example. The opening contains duplicated wording (“are are”), and the final sentence is incomplete. Use a reliable simple structure first—subject, verb, and complete idea—then add subordinate clauses only when you can control them.
