Student answer (Band 5.0)
INTRODUCTION:
This essay gives the topic about the future that cars, buses and trucks will be driverless and only people travelling on public transports. I completely believe on the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
Paragraph 1
Firstly, I discuss the disadvantages of driver less vehicles so the main problem is wasted a time for instance people usually wake up in the morning before the one or half to the office time if they have no car then it wasted a time and can not go to offine on correct time. Another example that people can not go to hospital in emergency at the correct moment and mostly people die through wated the time. One more point added that if trucks is finish then people face many problems to export large thing from one place to another.
Paragraph 2
On the other hand, I am completely believe with the possitive facts. The main oppertunities that save the money to illustrate some earning is mre lowest so it can not efford money to buy the own car while, it can not efford petrol, diesel or cng. therefore, it also declined a traffic and people continously easy travel from one place to another. For example many accident through the heavy traffic if traffic is lowest so accident ratio also decreases.
Conculusion
in conculusion, if people face many problems like wasted some times and some export issue. On the other hand, people get many oopertunities from driverless like save money and also declined accidental ratio and low traffic.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view in the introduction—“I completely believe” the advantages outweigh the disadvantages—and return to this position in the conclusion. You also attempt to discuss both sides, including time and emergency access as disadvantages and cost, traffic and accidents as advantages. However, the response only partially develops these points. The claim that driverless vehicles waste time is difficult to follow, and the point about trucks and exporting goods is not clearly connected to driverless technology. The benefits are also asserted rather than explained: for example, clarify how driverless vehicles would reduce ownership costs or traffic. Develop fewer relevant ideas with specific explanations or examples, and make the comparison between advantages and disadvantages more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. “Firstly” and “On the other hand” signal the shift between disadvantages and advantages, so the reader can identify the broad organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: several points are introduced in sequence without clear explanation of how they relate, and the first paragraph’s discussion of time, hospital emergencies and exports feels disconnected. Linking phrases such as “Another example” and “One more point” are repetitive, while the conclusion largely repeats earlier claims rather than drawing them together. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main idea, then explain and support it before moving to the next point; use referencing and transitions more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Your vocabulary is basic and often repetitive, which limits precision and sometimes makes the intended meaning difficult to understand. Phrases such as “save the money,” “declined a traffic,” and “accident ratio” show attempts to express relevant ideas, but the word combinations are not natural. There are also frequent spelling errors, including “oppertunities,” “possitive,” “efford” and “Conculusion.” These issues strain the reader, particularly in the discussion of costs and time. Build a more accurate range of topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. For example, use established expressions for vehicle ownership, traffic congestion and road accidents, and choose verbs that fit their objects, such as “reduce congestion” rather than “decline traffic.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to form longer sentences using clauses and connectors, but control is limited and errors occur frequently, sometimes making relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “I completely believe with the possitive facts” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “if trucks is finish” shows problems with agreement and sentence construction. In “people usually wake up in the morning before the one or half to the office time,” the structure does not clearly express the intended timing. Articles, plurals and verb forms also need attention, as in “it wasted a time” and “many accident.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “if” and “which.” Check subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries during revision.
