Student answer (Band 4.5)
In the future all cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. The only individual travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers. In this essay, we will discuss advantages and disadvantages of this facility.
First of all, in this age of science, it is not difficult to make new projects and it will be prove helpful for us in future life. Having the facility of driverless, may provide many advantages such as individual can save their time and also provide various opprtunities.
On the other hand, this research can provide several disadvantages and made a source of loss for all individual. Working on new autometic cars will hit to poor communuity such as all old cars will be closed permanently and new driverless cars will be used. it also lossful for those individual who employer as a driver and make money for their family. This advancement will hit their happiness. Primarily, it depend upon the community if they are able to survive in advance culture or not. So, this opportunity will outweigh the disadvantages.
Furthermore, its provde many advantages but in my experience its disadvantages are big. This advancement could be prove very danerous for all of them who are are able to survive easily in any part of world.
In conclusion, we should not launch this because it have more disadvantages then advantages and also cannot be proved successful for us. So, we should try to launch those products which may prove helpful for poor individuals and they can stay balanced.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You refer to both benefits and drawbacks, and your final paragraph gives a clear view that driverless vehicles should not be launched because their disadvantages are greater. However, this position is not consistent: you first conclude that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, then later state the opposite. The benefits are only briefly mentioned as saving time and providing opportunities, without explaining how these would happen. The drawbacks—especially the effect on drivers’ jobs—are more relevant, but need clearer explanation and a specific example. The response also contains 237 words, so it is 13 words below the required minimum; this limits the space available to develop your reasoning. Make your position consistent and support each main point with explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “First of all,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” show an attempt to organise the discussion. However, the ideas are not arranged coherently throughout. The paragraph beginning “On the other hand” ends by saying the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, while the next paragraph says the disadvantages are bigger; this makes the line of argument difficult to follow. The final paragraph then repeats the latter view without resolving the contradiction. Some links, such as “Furthermore,” do not introduce a clearly connected new point. Plan a consistent position, give each paragraph one main idea, and use linking phrases only where they accurately show the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary related to the topic, including “driverless cars,” “advancement,” “community” and “opportunity,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is basic and several inaccurate or misspelled choices make meaning unclear or unnatural. Examples include “facility of driverless,” “autometic cars,” “lossful” and “danerous.” Phrases such as “hit their happiness” and “stay balanced” do not express the intended effects precisely. These issues fit a response where vocabulary is limited and errors can strain the reader. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases, such as “automated vehicles,” “job displacement” and “road safety,” and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures, for example, “it also lossful for those individual who employer as a driver and make money for their family.” However, sentence patterns are limited, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “it will be prove helpful,” “it depend upon the community,” and “we should not launch this because it have more disadvantages.” There are also punctuation and capitalisation problems, such as the lowercase “it” after a full stop and the missing space after “driverless,”. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each verb against its subject.
