Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the future all cars, buses, and trucks will be driverless. The only people travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers. That is true due to AI because AI is become more powerfull day by day. There are boths advantage and disadvantages that we discuss in bellow.

First we discuss the advantages, the major advantage is there are no human involve in the private ride and there are zero chances of the road accidient because all cars drives by AI so all the cars, buses and trucks integrate each other and comunicates in seconds, that is the major advantages of that transports, and no one become late to the Offices and and fuction for traffic. and they take less man efforts. And car drives non stop for many hours or days because there are no man drive in the car that's need rest. and we can reached at the destination on the time.

In other side there are disadvantages of the driverless cars, the major disadvantage is the job of the people is gone because the drivers has no other option for the earn money. the drivers has only one skills that is drivings. and other side the under devolped countries does not implements driverless cars sudenly. There are a Huge probles that is HAcking because all the cars drives automatically bassed on AI so hackers can hack the car system and fully control the cars for this reason the crime ratio is increase in the envoirment.

Im conclution, there are boths advantages and disadvantages but in my opnion the driverless cars does not implemented.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You discuss both advantages and disadvantages, including fewer accidents, reduced driver effort, job losses and hacking, so the response is relevant to the question. However, your position is not clearly sustained: the conclusion says driverless cars “does not implemented,” which does not directly state whether their advantages outweigh their disadvantages. Several points are asserted rather than explained—for example, the claim that there are “zero chances” of accidents is absolute and unsupported, while the hacking risk is not illustrated. The response also falls six words short of the 250-word minimum; the 21 words copied from the task prompt are not counted. Develop and support your main reasons, and give a direct, consistent answer to the comparison in the question.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, one on disadvantages and a conclusion. Signposting such as “First” and “In other side” helps readers identify the shift between sections. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and several ideas are joined in long strings with repeated “and,” making relationships between claims unclear. The advantages paragraph moves from accidents to lateness, effort and continuous driving without explaining how these points connect. Some linking phrases are also awkward or inaccurate, and the conclusion does not clearly resolve the comparison. Use one main idea per sentence, group related points, and connect each reason to its explanation or example.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “driverless,” “passengers,” “road accident,” “hacking” and “crime ratio,” which makes the main subject understandable. However, the range is basic and repetitive, with frequent spelling, word-form and collocation problems that sometimes strain the reader’s effort: examples include “powerfull,” “accidient,” “comunic ates” (written as “comunic ates” in the response), “under devolped” and “envoirment.” Phrases such as “the job of the people is gone” and “for the earn money” are not natural ways to express the ideas. Build a more precise set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocations; the suggestions below offer practical replacements.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences to explain causes and consequences, but grammatical control is weak and errors occur frequently, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to follow. For example, “AI is become more powerfull” has an incorrect verb form, and “all cars drives by AI” has subject–verb agreement and passive-form problems. Other examples include “the drivers has” and “we can reached,” which show difficulties with agreement and verb patterns. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also unreliable, particularly in the long advantages sentence. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because” or “which.” Check verb forms, agreement and punctuation during revision.
