Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is an undeniable fact that the trasport for travelling will be driverless nowadays. It is often argue by some people that it is negative development but I consider it positive not only because of less stress and less rate of accidents and also 24 hours transport availability. In this essay we explore that how these factors make this development positive one.

There are multiple benefits of this development. To begin will, one of the prime advantages of this development are 24 hours availability. Due to use of driverless transport you can travel anytime according to your routine and do your work while traveling. For example, no need for waiting the driver for going to schools and offices etc. Thus , this benefit can single handedly makis this development positive one.

Futhermore, another major pros linked with this development is less rate of accidents. Due to use of driverless trasport the accident rate decrease because of proper management and fixed decision. For instace, At highway the cars travels within the speed limits and according to speed lines. Thus, this benefit can clearly overshadow any disadvantage.

In addition, another considerable merit associated with this development is less stress. By use of driverless transport you feel not stress in long journey because driver need proper rest but machine not wants rest.

In conclusion, I believe that these factors out weigh the negative factors not only because of 24 hours availaibilty , less stress and also less accident rate. These factors clearly jusity the development is positive one.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you give three relevant reasons—greater availability, fewer accidents and less stress. The examples about travelling to school or work and vehicles following speed limits help connect the points to the topic. However, the discussion is one-sided: the prompt asks you to weigh advantages against disadvantages, but you do not identify or explain any drawbacks, such as technical failures or job losses. Some claims also need fuller support; for instance, explain how automated systems could reduce accidents and why round-the-clock availability would be practical. This addresses the task, but some aspects are developed less fully than others.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the main advantages, and a conclusion that restates your view. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin,” “Furthermore” and “In addition” make the progression easy to follow, and each body paragraph has a central idea. This already gives the essay a coherent arrangement. To make the links more natural and precise, reduce repeated formulae such as “Thus, this benefit…” and connect each example directly to the claim it supports. The introduction’s promise to explore “how these factors” make the development positive is not fully matched by a balanced comparison, and the conclusion could briefly acknowledge why the benefits outweigh a specific drawback.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “driverless transport,” “accident rate,” “availability” and “advantages,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors make the writing less natural: “trasport,” “Futhermore,” “makis,” “less rate of accidents” and “out weigh.” Phrases such as “fixed decision” and “speed lines” are unclear in this context. Aim to learn accurate collocations for this topic—for example, “reduce the risk of collisions” and “operate around the clock”—and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would help you explain the benefits without relying on repeated general phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrastive structure in “not only because of less stress … and also 24 hours transport availability.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in sentence construction and agreement occur often enough to affect clarity. For example, “one of the prime advantages … are” should use a singular verb, while “the accident rate decrease” needs a correctly formed verb. The opening sentence and “In this essay we explore that how” also show problems with clause structure. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a supporting reason or example, then check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation. Greater control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to read.
