Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the future, self driving technoloy may allow buses and trucks operate without human driver. Although this development could create some problems. But i belive that its advantages outweight the drawbacks because it can improve road safety and make travelling convenient.
On the one hand, one major advantage of deriverless vehicle is that it can reduce road accidents. Many driver are get distracted by using there phones or talking with some one. However, automated vehicles can use senors and computer system to detect obstacle and follow traffic rules. As a result, road may become safer for pessengers and padestrians. Another benefit is that people can use their travelling time more productivity. For example, passeneger could read articles or relax when going to work instead of concentrating on driving. Furthermore, individuals with disability such as knee issue, limping can become independent.
On the other hand, driveless vehiles also have some drawbacks. Firstly, tehnical filure problems or software failure could cause serious road accident, especially if technology can not respond correctly in unexpected situation. Secondly, many professional drivers, including taxi drivers, bus drivers and truck drivers may become jobeless. This may could put financial pressure on their faamilies. However, government could reduce this problems by providing training programes to help these worker to find employment in other indutries. In additon, companies must test twice these automated vehicles carefuly before using widely.
In conclusion, although, driverless vehicles may cause technical issue and employment. But i believe their advantages are greater than its drawbacks becuase automated vehicles provide safety to passenger and individuals can use their traelling house doing other work.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear throughout: you believe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and the conclusion restates this view. You address both sides of the question with relevant points, including accident reduction, more productive travel, greater independence for some disabled people, technical failures and driver unemployment. Examples such as passengers reading on the way to work help explain the benefits. This fits a response that covers the task and supports its main ideas. To strengthen it further, develop some points more precisely: explain how automated systems might reduce accidents, or give a clearer example of how retraining could help displaced drivers. The final claim about using travel time for “other work” also needs to be expressed more clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. The progression within the body paragraphs is generally logical, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” make the organisation easy to follow. This establishes a coherent argument, with some effective linking between claims and outcomes. However, cohesion is not always smooth: “Although … But” creates a broken contrast in both the opening and conclusion, while “However” in the first body paragraph does not clearly connect the ideas. Some references, such as “this problems” and “these worker,” are also unclear or inaccurate. Use linking phrases more selectively and check that each reference clearly points to its intended idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main argument, including “automated vehicles,” “road accidents,” “software failure,” and “financial pressure.” There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “unexpected situation” and “providing training programmes.” However, the range and control are limited by frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms, including “technoloy,” “deriverless,” “jobeless,” and “carefuly.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “use their travelling time more productivity” and “test twice these automated vehicles.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, even though the intended meaning is usually recoverable. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations, for example, “use travel time productively” and “test vehicles thoroughly before widespread use.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including a conditional idea (“if technology can not respond correctly”) and a relative clause (“individuals with disability such as knee issue…”). However, the range is limited, and complex structures are often faulty. For example, “Although this development could create some problems. But…” is an incomplete construction, while “many driver are get distracted” and “This may could put financial pressure” show problems with verb forms and agreement. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “a major advantage of deriverless vehicle” and “these worker.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention as well. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a correctly formed subordinate clause before adding more complex patterns.
