Student answer (Band 5.5)
With the impressive development of technology in transport sector many people beleive that in upcommimg future all modes of transport will be operated without a human driver.Although driverless vehicles have both pros and cons,i beleive that it's adventages outweigh the disadventages.
Technology is making progress by leaps and wounds.Specificly,in the feild of transportation.Human drivers are most likely to be replaced by a system that can operate vehicles without the need of a human driver.
There are many adventages of this automatic system. As the system becomes more technical, there would be less chance of errors. This is because when a system like such is developed,it undergoes many testing stages.Only after the complete success it is made available to the public. Moreover, many issues can be resolved. For example there are many occasions when drivers are not available. This system compeletly overcomes this issue. In addition, many drivers are always late no matterthe occasion.Driverless cars can easily resolve this problem as well
On the other hand there are many disadventages of driverless vehicles are as well.Firstly, this system can cause joblessness as majority of the adults are drivers by professionn. Moreover, people may find it difficult to trust this system. They may feel afraid.
In conclusion, driverless vehicles have both adventages and disadventages.Although many people beleive that it can cause varoius issues, but i strongly beleive that it's adventages are more detrimentel than the disadventages.People can find it hard adapting to this new system but once they get used to this they willfind travel more convineint and scure. It is only a matter of time before this new system becomes a dialy routine for us.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear answer to the question: the introduction and conclusion state that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you discuss both sides. The points about fewer driver errors, transport availability and possible job losses are relevant. However, the advantages are asserted more than explained: for example, the claim that testing makes driverless systems less error-prone needs a clearer link to safer journeys or fewer accidents. The point about drivers being late is also not developed, and the disadvantages are limited to employment and public trust. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of each point and support them with a specific, plausible example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate discussion of advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For example,” and “On the other hand” help signal the direction of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes abrupt: the discussion moves from system testing to driver availability and lateness without fully connecting these ideas. The disadvantage paragraph is brief, and the conclusion repeats the position rather than drawing together the main reasons. Some linking is mechanical, and punctuation around transitions is inconsistent. Group related points more clearly, use references such as “this technology” precisely, and make each paragraph develop one central idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “driverless vehicles,” “automatic system,” “joblessness,” and “adapting,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words are repeated, especially “advantages,” “disadvantages,” “system,” and “drivers.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “beleive,” “upcommimg,” “compeletly,” and “convineint”—make the writing less clear and reduce the accuracy of word choice. Some expressions are also unnatural, including “progress by leaps and wounds” and “more detrimentel than the disadventages,” which appears to reverse the intended meaning. Build a small bank of accurate transport and safety collocations, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including a concession in “Although driverless vehicles have both pros and cons” and a conditional time clause in “once they get used to this.” These attempts show some range, but errors recur in sentence construction and punctuation. For example, “there are many disadvantages of driverless vehicles are as well” contains an unnecessary second verb, while “Although many people believe that it can cause various issues, but…” combines two contrasting structures incorrectly. Missing spaces after full stops and commas also make sentence boundaries harder to follow. Practise building accurate clauses with “although” or “but,” not both together, and check articles, agreement and punctuation when editing.
