Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the modern era, technology is surging day by day with the help of this scientist invent numerous things. A Few individuals assert that the vehicles and cars should be driveless the only individual travel interior as a passengers.I think demrits are more rather than the merit which will be elaborated in the upcoming paragraphs with relevant examples.

Commencing with, fundamental reasons could be taken into consideration as to why driveless cars or trucks puts the detrimental impact. Primarily, it reduces the importance of drivers which tend to issue of unemployment. This point is further bolstered by the fact that when people promote the robertic cars rather than the passengers cars, it causes many people are jobless, and it puts the bad impact on country economy.Having japan, as an example, they use more advance technology owing to this many people face financial crisis. As a consequences, people do not promote driveless cars and drive their car by themselves.

Furthermore, it has adverse impact on atmosphere as well damange the natural resources. This point is substantiated by the fact that if they invent this type of vehicles, they use number of different substance which give by the nature such as, oil as well electricity , and they demolish very fast and people face many problems. Another important aspect is that it create lot pollution which is not only create environmental issues but also people face many helath disease like cardivasculaur disease as well individuals do not take breathe easily.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear in the introduction and conclusion: you believe the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. You also give two relevant concerns—driver unemployment and environmental or health effects—and attempt to support them with an example about Japan. However, the response addresses the task only partially because it does not explain any advantages of driverless vehicles or directly weigh the two sides. The supporting points are also under-developed: the Japan example does not show how driverless technology specifically causes financial hardship, and the claims about resource use and pollution need clearer explanation. To strengthen the response, briefly acknowledge a benefit, then develop and support your main reasons with specific, logically connected examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall arrangement: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs each focus on a main concern, and signposts such as “Primarily,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some links feel mechanical. For example, the move from driverless vehicles to “passengers cars” and then to Japan’s financial crisis does not make the reasoning easy to follow. The second body paragraph also combines resource use, pollution and disease without clearly showing how each point connects. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between each claim, explanation and example explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “unemployment,” “financial crisis,” “natural resources” and “environmental issues,” and the reader can generally identify your main concerns. However, the range is limited by repeated or inaccurate expressions, and several word choices make meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “driveless,” “demrits,” “puts the detrimental impact,” and “they demolish very fast”; the intended meanings are not consistently clear. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “helath,” “conculsion” and “cardivasculaur.” Build accuracy with common collocations before reaching for more elaborate wording, and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for vehicle automation, emissions and health effects would make your argument clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning “when” and “if,” and you use some linking structures to explain causes and effects. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. For example, “when people promote the robertic cars … it causes many people are jobless” has an incomplete grammatical connection, while “it create lot pollution” has subject–verb and article problems. Agreement and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “cars or trucks puts” and the run-on after “economy.” Practise building one clear main clause at a time, then add subordinate clauses with accurate verb forms, articles and punctuation.
