Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the recent times, most of the cars needs the drivers for the travelling and humans are the medium for driving a vehicals. Nowadays, in the modren technology are used in cars such as a self driving. However, this technology is built in across all cars company. Furthermore, in the near future all vehicles would be driverless, also passenger will travel inside the vehicles. In my opinion, the driverless technology have more disadvantages than its advantages.
First and foremost, that technology has been limited to first world countries such as North America, Europe and some of the occean continent. Besides , for third world countries like subcontinent its not beneficial because of traffic rules. For instance, in subcontinent people are less likely to follow the traffic rules because of this its really dangerous to launch a fully computerize cars. Also, it makes more accident in the society, where people not follow the traffic rules.
On the other hand, the vehicles such as cars, busses and trucks would be driverless has an enormous impact on the unemployment because most of the people earn from driving likewise uber and yango. Subsequently, in the future driverless vehicles completly anihilate the drivers job. For example, In China there are taxies that based on the self driving technology , so earning from the uber is impossible. Additionally, there are too many disadvantages but, at the same-time there are few advantages of having driverless vehicles such as taking a nap in the middle of journey.
In conclusion, the driverless technology is used in vehicles but, its not succesfull in the third world countries. Meanwhile, in the first world countries has been

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, and you offer relevant concerns about road safety and employment. The examples of traffic-rule compliance in the subcontinent and taxi drivers in China help connect your points to the topic. However, the response addresses the advantages only briefly, with “taking a nap in the middle of journey,” and does not explain why this benefit is outweighed by the disadvantages. The opening also spends time describing current technology rather than establishing the main arguments. The conclusion is incomplete (“Meanwhile, in the first world countries has been”), so it does not effectively summarise your position. Develop both sides more fully and finish with a direct, complete conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “First and foremost” and “On the other hand” help indicate shifts. However, progression is uneven: the first body paragraph focuses on traffic rules, while the next combines unemployment with a brief advantage, making the comparison difficult to follow. Some linking expressions are repetitive or do not show the relationship accurately, such as “Additionally” before a contrast and “Meanwhile” in the unfinished conclusion. References such as “that technology” are not always precise. Organise each paragraph around one main point, explain it in sequence, and use linking words only when their meaning fits.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “driverless,” “traffic rules,” “unemployment” and “self driving technology,” so the reader can identify your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “the medium for driving,” “occean continent,” “computerize cars” and “anihilate the drivers job.” Spelling errors such as “modren,” “succesfull” and “completly” also reduce accuracy. Repetition of “vehicles” and “driverless” limits flexibility. Aim for more precise phrases such as “automated vehicles,” “road safety,” and “displace professional drivers,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, using clauses introduced by “because” and “where,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently. For example, “most of the cars needs” has subject–verb disagreement, while “the driverless technology have” also needs agreement. The sentence “Nowadays, in the modren technology are used in cars” lacks a clear subject and verb structure. There are also problems with articles, plurals and sentence boundaries, as in “in middle of journey” and the unfinished final sentence. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles and punctuation.
