Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, some countries have introduced electric vehicles, which can ride without driver. While the passengers can rest inside while travelling. I think, to some extent the advantages of driverless might outweigh the disadvantages in the society.
On one hand, western countries have adapted the technology of drivless cars. Companies like starlink have launched a series of car, that runs automatically. In contrast, people have adapted with the fast technology to make their life style easy and comfortable. For example, a well know enterpernur Elon Musk have recently launched car called Tesla, which is automated and the individuals do not need to drive or direct the car. It has features like google map and it can drive an individual to their destination.
Another adanvantages , is that a person without who fear to drive will invest in technology. As AI have overcome the human work, peoples are more prone in taking help of technology. For intsance, some CEO's will have lots of projects to completed, and they want a smooth and peacefull travel. Therefore, people will buy driverless car to reduced noise and disturbance.
However, technology are rapidly increasing in the metrocity, disadvantges can also inuflence in some part like excessive production of vechile leading to malfunction of the system and cause accidents. Despite these concern, disadvantages can be controlled with detail inspection done of the vechiles before been launched in the market.
In conclusion, although a relatively high proportion of technology can create challenges in the automobile market, it can be reasured by all the proffessional mechanic and can be corrected for the betterment of the passengers safety. Therefore, I believe that advantages of driverless vechiles can outweigh the disadvanteages with proper guidances.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that the benefits can outweigh the drawbacks, and you include both sides, particularly convenience for busy people and the risk of accidents from system malfunctions. However, the position is qualified by “to some extent” and is not consistently explained: the conclusion says the risks can be corrected, but does not show why this makes the benefits greater overall. Some support is also unclear or weakly connected to driverless transport. For example, the reference to Starlink and Tesla focuses on companies and navigation features rather than demonstrating wider advantages, while the point about people who fear driving is not developed. Explain the benefits and risks more directly, then compare their importance to make your judgement convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs presenting benefits and a drawback, and a conclusion. The contrast signalled by “On one hand” and “However” helps readers follow the broad direction, and the main position is repeated at the end. Within paragraphs, though, progression is sometimes uneven. The opening sentence about electric vehicles does not lead clearly into driverless technology, and “In contrast” does not express the relationship between the ideas that follow. Some references are also unclear, such as “it” in the Tesla example. Use linking phrases that accurately show cause, contrast or example, and organise each body paragraph around one main point with a clear explanation and supporting detail.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “automated,” “malfunction,” “accidents,” and “passengers,” so the subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make the writing less precise. Examples include “adapted the technology” where “adopted” is intended, “a series of car,” and “reduced noise” in a context where the intended benefit is unclear. There are also repeated misspellings such as “drivless,” “vechile,” and “disadvantges.” Build a more accurate set of transport and safety expressions, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would help distinguish convenience, safety and reliability.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including a concession in “although a relatively high proportion of technology can create challenges” and a relative clause describing the Tesla. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. “While the passengers can rest inside while travelling” is a fragment, and “As AI have overcome” has incorrect subject–verb agreement and verb form. Other examples include “a person without who fear to drive” and “disadvantages can be controlled with detail inspection done.” Review sentence boundaries, agreement, articles and verb patterns, then practise building longer sentences from accurate clauses. Clearer control of these basics will make your ideas easier to follow.
