Student answer (Band 5.5)
It seems like future of vehicles will be driverless. Only passengers will be using it. As there are already metro buses introduced which are using by passengers for transportation without any driver in it. So in coming years more vehicles will be like this, without drivers. For example when i was in peshawar city of pakistan i saw brt buses which have this technology.
In my opinion the benefits of driverless vehicals are more than there disadvantages. As these vehicles are shaped and set to be travelling in there specific paths of there own. They have there fixed ways to follow so there are very less chances of accidents, crushes and other disasters which can take place by mistakes of humans.
As human driving is more depended on mood of driver. As sometime when a person is in hurry so he can do over speeding, not following signals. Or a person who is drunk or in angry mood, is very dangerous as a driver. In contrast the automatic vehicles have there fix speed and driving rules which they are following by there own. I have experienced it in my real life that four peoples were injured very seriouly who were hitted by a car, while they were walking on footpath. In this case when police do investigation they identify the person who was driver of the car was drunk at that time.
So we can conclude that this cases will be very limited in future if the cars, buses, and trucks will be driverless. Although there are also some disadvantages of automatic vehicles. But from my perspective the overall advantages are higher than disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You answer the question directly and maintain a clear position that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Your explanation that automated vehicles may avoid human errors such as speeding or driving while drunk is relevant, and the personal example of a collision gives the argument some support. However, the response develops the benefits much more fully than the disadvantages: you acknowledge that disadvantages exist but do not identify or explain any. The claim that fixed routes mean “very less chances” of accidents also needs qualification, since technical failures or difficult road conditions could still create risks. To strengthen the response, explain at least one disadvantage and weigh it against the safety benefits, while developing your examples more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs explaining the safety argument, and a concluding opinion. The progression from driverless transport to human driving risks is generally understandable, and phrases such as “In contrast” and “So we can conclude” help signal relationships. However, the first paragraph includes background about buses that does not clearly advance the comparison, and the second and third paragraphs repeat the same safety point. Some links are mechanical or unclear, particularly the repeated sentence openings with “As,” and “this cases” does not clearly refer to a specific idea. Organise the body around distinct points—for example, safety benefits and possible drawbacks—and use clearer references and transitions to show how each point supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “driverless,” “transportation,” “over speeding,” “signals,” and “investigation.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which makes parts of the argument less precise. For example, “crushes” does not express the intended meaning of road collisions, “fixed ways” is unclear, and “hitted” is not the correct form. Repeated use of “vehicles,” “driver,” and “disadvantages” also limits variety. Aim to use accurate transport-related terms and collocations, such as “designated routes,” “road accidents,” and “human error.” Check spelling and word forms carefully, especially in key terms that carry your argument.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if the cars, buses, and trucks will be driverless” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” The main message is usually understandable, but some sentence structures and grammatical forms are inaccurate. For instance, “As there are already metro buses introduced” is an incomplete dependent clause, while “four peoples were injured” and “the person who was driver” show errors with plurals and articles. There are also problems with verb forms and agreement in “which they are following by there own.” Work on forming complete sentences, using articles and plural nouns accurately, and choosing consistent verb forms. Breaking some long sentences into clearer units would also improve control and punctuation.
