Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is quite debate regarding the use of driverless vehicles in future. The only individuals travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers. It has several cons and pos but the drawbacks outweigh the benefits.
In one hand, there will be reduction in the emission of carbon as these cars utilizes electricity while ancient cars consume fossil fuels. As a result, of utilizing renewable means leads to hinder the pollution. For instance, the major cities that faced obstacles due to air pollution include Lahore and the respiratoy disorders surged due to contamination of air and these hurdles will reduce in future by replacing means of transportation. Furthermore, the traffic congestions in cities will declined by the employ of driverless cars. These means of transpotations are budget friendly as there is no reqirement of driver So,finance will be lessened.
On the other hand, auto industries collapse, mechanics , gasoline stations will be out of business and it leads to growth in unemloyment and these methods are not convenient to rely totally on them. For example, In remote areas of Pakpattan there will be difficult to travel without drivers and the situation will cause overcrowded public transport system.Additionally, the possibility of accidents escalated because these cars operate by the assistance of artificial intelligence and whenever the interruption in network or machine learning will take place the incident happens.
In upcoming era cars will operate without drivers, and the travellers will be only passengers. It will cause alot of problems as well as comforts. In the foreseeable future, cities will be less reliant on driverless cars due to its negative impacts. Governments should implement such laws that monitor the development of these cars.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you argue that the disadvantages outweigh the benefits, and you address both sides of the question. Relevant benefits include lower emissions and reduced congestion, while your concerns include unemployment, access in remote areas and accidents linked to technical failures. The Lahore and Pakpattan examples help connect the discussion to real contexts. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: for instance, the claim that driverless vehicles will reduce congestion needs a clearer explanation of how, and the employment effects could be developed beyond listing affected industries. The conclusion also introduces a less-supported prediction that cities will become less reliant on these vehicles. Develop the main reasons more fully and keep the final position consistent with the discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. This makes the overall direction understandable. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several claims are joined together without clear links or punctuation. For example, the discussion moves from emissions to Lahore’s health problems and then to transport replacement in one long sequence. Connect each claim to the next explicitly, and give each main idea its own supporting explanation. Some linking phrases, such as “Furthermore” and “Additionally,” help, but “In one hand” is not an accurate transition, and the conclusion repeats the opening rather than synthesising the argument. Clearer referencing would also help readers identify what “these methods” refers to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “emission of carbon,” “renewable,” “traffic congestions,” “artificial intelligence” and “unemployment.” This gives you useful material for discussing environmental, economic and safety effects. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, which sometimes makes the meaning less precise: “quite debate,” “ancient cars,” “hinder the pollution” and “budget friendly” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “respiratoy,” “transpotations,” “reqirement” and “unemloyment.” Aim for accurate, conventional collocations and check spelling carefully; a smaller set of well-controlled terms will communicate your points more effectively than ambitious but unclear phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “as,” “because” and “whenever.” This shows an effort to explain causes and consequences. However, control is uneven, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles and punctuation sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “As a result, of utilizing renewable means leads to hinder the pollution” does not form a complete, well-structured sentence, while “these cars utilizes” has a subject–verb agreement error. In “the traffic congestions in cities will declined,” the verb form is also incorrect. Several sentences run together, particularly in the first body paragraph. Practise building complete clauses and checking verb forms, agreement and sentence boundaries before adding more complex structures.
