Student answer (Band 4.5)

People travels through the busus and carry their heavy products from one place to another by the help of trucks. The drivers of vehicles know the rules of traffic and drive according to it. In future when all the buses, cars, and trucks will be driverless we have to face many disadvantages. The only people will travelling inside these vehicles will be only the passengers.i think the disadvantages will be more because without the controller how the vehicles will move efficiently.

The passengers will sit without any arrangement and how they will pay fare after leaving the bus or car. The risk of accidents will he higher than now because if two vehicles are at the same path how they will go without crossing each other and also by giving place to other. When the school or footpath will come how would they know that they have to reduce their speed.on the other hand there are some advantages of this type of driverless vehicles .The question arises in our mind that how these buses will know that now it has to stop at this bus stop to drop the passengers. Then the passengers will reach at their destination in some time and and at the fixed time. I think it this more difficult to manage such type of transportation. Any how by seeing the pros and cons of driverless vehicles we come to know that drivers must be in vehicles to control them. The drivers will be unemployed then how they will earn? we must keep in mind the condition of unemployment in our country. We cant made this change.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall view that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, and you identify relevant concerns such as accident risk, managing stops and fares, and drivers losing their jobs. However, the response only partially develops the task: several points are posed as questions rather than explained, for example, “how these buses will know” when to stop and how vehicles will pass one another. The advantages are mentioned only briefly, without a specific benefit being explained, so the comparison is unbalanced. The claim that passengers will sit “without any arrangement” is also unclear. To strengthen the response, explain two or three main disadvantages with realistic examples, acknowledge a concrete advantage such as fewer crashes caused by human error, and show why your concerns outweigh it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a recognisable overall direction: you state your position near the beginning and return to it in the conclusion. Some ideas are linked with phrases such as “on the other hand” and “because,” which helps show contrast and cause. However, the response is presented as one long block, and the progression between points is difficult to follow. The discussion moves from fares to accidents, bus stops, employment, and then back to managing transport, without clear grouping. Some linking is repetitive or confusing, particularly the sequence of questions about how vehicles will operate. Use separate paragraphs for your position, disadvantages, advantages, and conclusion, and connect each point with a clear explanation rather than a series of questions.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the general subject, including “driverless vehicles,” “traffic,” “accidents,” “passengers,” and “unemployed.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations make ideas unclear, such as “heavy products,” “without any arrangement,” and “at the same path.” There are also noticeable spelling and form errors, including “busus” and “cant,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise transport vocabulary and check spelling carefully. For example, describe “freight” being carried by trucks, refer to vehicles travelling “in the same lane,” and explain that passengers may need a system for “paying fares.” This would make your points clearer and more appropriate to an academic essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example, “The risk of accidents will he higher than now because if two vehicles are at the same path…” However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement include “People travels,” “the only people will travelling,” and “how they will pay fare.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent: “speed.on the other hand” joins ideas without a proper space or sentence break, while “i think” is not capitalised. These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then build longer sentences with one clear clause relationship, checking verb forms, articles, and punctuation.
