Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, technology is very devloping and the future, cars, buses and trucks will be driveless and people travelling inside these vechiles as a passenger. In my opinion advantages are outweigh disadvantages. Beacuse it reduces accidents and driving become easier.
On the first hand, advantages of driveless it reduces road accidents beacuse it have sensor and it detect other cars and obstacle and reduces accidents. Sometime people make accidents with their own mistakes like tiredness, carelessness and not following rules. But with driveless it follow rules Moreover people have no stress about driving and they also do any work on that time, read book and do things they wants and also spend time with their families.
On the other hand, it have also disadvantages, the main problems is technology didn't work properly. For instance, when heavy rainfall and when road damage it become causes of accidents. Some people do job like car drivers, buses driver and truck drivers, when all vechiles become automatic they loose their jobs and they finacial problems.
However, I believe this problems reduces with proper testing and with government rules and they also make sure with testing its safe then government allowing them to driveless vechiles on public roads. Government also give another jobes to drivers and they live their life.
In conclusion, driveless vechiles have both advantages and disadvantages. Although it may causes technology problems and unemployments and it can be fix with proper rules and work, but also reduces accidents and I believe advantages outweigh disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and you address both sides of the question. The points about sensors reducing human-error accidents, passengers using travel time productively, technical failures in bad weather, and drivers losing work are all relevant. The conclusion also returns to your judgement. However, some ideas are asserted rather than explained: for example, you say passengers can “do any work” but do not show how this benefit compares with the risks. The proposed solutions—testing, government rules, and alternative jobs—are also mentioned briefly without explaining how they would work. Develop these points with a specific example or consequence to make the argument more convincing and balanced.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. This makes the overall argument easy to follow. You also use signposting such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” to show shifts in direction. At times, however, the linking feels mechanical, and some connections between ideas are unclear. For instance, “On the first hand” is not the usual expression, and the long sequence beginning “people have no stress about driving” combines several benefits without clear separation. The reference in “this problems” is also unclear. Use more precise transitions and organise each paragraph around one main point, followed by its explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “road accidents,” “sensor,” “heavy rainfall,” “automatic,” and “unemployments.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “driveless,” “accidents,” and “government.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “devloping,” “vechiles,” “finacial,” and “jobes,” which can distract the reader. Some combinations are not natural, including “make accidents” and “technology problems.” Build a more accurate set of topic expressions and check spelling carefully. Using alternatives such as “driverless vehicles,” “collisions,” and “technical failures” would make the discussion clearer and more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “Although” and a conditional idea about government testing. The main message is generally understandable, but errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, and articles occur across the response. For example, “advantages are outweigh disadvantages” has an incorrect verb construction, while “it have sensor” and “it detect” show agreement problems. The sentence beginning “Although it may causes…” also combines clauses in a way that is difficult to control. Aim for accurate basic patterns first, then add complex sentences. Check subject–verb agreement, use of articles, and whether each sentence has a complete, clearly connected clause.
