Student answer (Band 5.0)

This is the fact that technology industries are growing rapidly, so there will be a time when all driving vehichles will be driverless. This type of technology have bith aspects of advantages and disadvantages.Firstly we will go through its positive aspects and advantages then to rest of discussion. This technology is rapidly increasing in society.

Driverless vehicles helpful in causing minimizing the cost of transporters. The way they have not to pay for the driver and this may increase there total profit. Also people fell free to have a comfortable jouney. There will be privacy for passengers in a greater way. There will be alots of good points for the transport provider too. They can have the benifit of mazimizing there profit along with more passengers because ehenever a new technology is introduced people rushed towards that technology and used it, In starting there will be low provider of such a technology.

Going to the disadvantages of such a technology we can say that this type of technology will make people restless because many of people do not trust technology so they can be the one who will feel that type of things related to technology. Every time you just got a technology make you have all the related information of such a technology. Do not trust the technology bindly because this technology is made by humans and human make errors so that is the reason of my opinion.

My own example is that I was constantly using an ai for my every day task and sometimes it gave me unrelivant informations and often unauthentic too. So I realized that trusting on technology is not good every time.

The conclusion of the whole discussion is simple and clear that technology should be used but in limts. And do not trust the technology blindly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both advantages and disadvantages and give a clear general view in the conclusion: technology should be used, but not trusted blindly. The points about lower operating costs, passenger privacy and concerns about reliability are relevant. However, the response only partially answers the central question of whether the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. It does not clearly compare their importance or state a definite position on which side is stronger. Several ideas are also under-developed: for example, the claim that driverless vehicles attract more passengers is not supported with a specific explanation, and the personal example about inaccurate AI does not show how this would affect vehicle safety. Make your judgement explicit and develop each main point with a reason or relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an identifiable structure, moving from an introduction to advantages, disadvantages, a personal example and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad topic. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some points are repeated rather than connected into a clear argument. For instance, the discussion of providers’ profits appears in several forms, while the transition “Going to the disadvantages” is mechanical. The opening also promises a discussion but does not establish the writer’s position. Some references, such as “this type of things” and “that technology,” are unclear. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, link explanations directly to it, and use clearer referencing and transitions to build a comparison between benefits and risks.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “driverless vehicles,” “privacy,” “technology,” and “profit,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “transporters” for transport providers, “fell free” for feel free, “unrelivant informations,” and “trusting on technology.” Repetition of “technology” and “advantages” also limits precision. Aim to use accurate topic-specific phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise language for the risks—such as system failure, safety concerns or passenger confidence—would help you explain your ideas without relying on repeated general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including explanations with “because” and a personal example, but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement and verb forms occur in sentences such as “This type of technology have” and “people rushed towards that technology and used it.” Sentence construction is also faulty in “The way they have not to pay for the driver,” while “Every time you just got a technology make you have all the related information” is difficult to follow because its clauses are not properly formed. Punctuation and spacing are inconsistent, particularly where sentences run together. Practise building clear subject–verb sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, tense and punctuation in each sentence.
