Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the coming A.I era, transportation mode plays a crucial part in our life. Many people believes that in future there will be no need of drivers as all the vehicle such as personal cars, buses and heavy-duty trucks will be operated by artificial intelligent and the only human being commuting inside will be travellers. I think the drawbacks of this trend will exceed benefits as it can't apply everywhere and machines lacks few skills. In this essay, I will provide justifications to support my statement.
To begin with, Machines lacks accountability and instant decision making . To elaborate, humans can make instant critical decisions based on certain circumstances while machines runs on software which slows it's speed and also during any incident we cannot blame any auto operated machines. For example, Humans can take rapid judgements such as change the direction of vehicle if there is a small kid or aged woman comes in from of it but for machines it is not possible. Therefore, Machines lacks certain decision making during crucial phase.
Another key factor is that some countries are not ready for this change Because of these I mean Driverless vehicles needs constant internet access all the time with precise condition of roads. Some countries are not ready for this technology yet and didn't have a budget to make changes on their roads. To illustrate, Afghanistan and Pakistan doesn't have a basic roads condition to accommodate these facility and have a small budget that they can't spend on it.
On the other hand It has an advantage that it can be good for saving money. To explain, selected council doesn't have to hire a driver for each buses and instead of it they can just have a standard software which can works for all the vehicles. The money can later be invest in countries amenities.
In conclusion, al though selected party can save it's funds, I believe that it's disadvantage are more serious. This is primarily because machines response time during certain judgements and still many country is not ready for this change.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you believe the disadvantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the benefits, and the conclusion maintains this view. You address both sides by discussing decision-making and infrastructure as drawbacks, then cost savings as an advantage. These are relevant reasons, and the examples of a child entering the road and countries with limited road infrastructure help illustrate them. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that software slows a vehicle’s response is not clearly justified, and the cost-saving benefit is only briefly developed. Explain the likely consequences of each point and support them with more precise examples to make the argument more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting disadvantages, a paragraph acknowledging an advantage, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Another key factor,” and “On the other hand” make the progression easy to follow. This already gives the essay a coherent shape. To strengthen cohesion further, make the links between claims and explanations more precise. For example, “Because of these I mean” interrupts the transition into the infrastructure point, while “Therefore” repeats the preceding idea rather than advancing it. Some references, such as “it” and “these facility,” are also unclear. Use more exact linking language and refer back to specific ideas or vehicles.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “driverless vehicles,” “artificial intelligence,” “accountability,” “internet access,” and “infrastructure.” These choices help communicate the subject and show attempts to use more specific language. However, several inaccurate or unnatural expressions reduce precision, such as “transportation mode,” “machines lacks accountability,” “precise condition of roads,” and “selected council.” There are also spelling and word-form problems, including “judgements” in a context where “decisions” is more natural and “amenities” for the intended public spending. Aim for accurate collocations and consistent terminology; choosing familiar, precise phrases is more effective than using less suitable formal-sounding expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “while,” “if,” and “because,” and the main argument is generally understandable. Some sentence structures are effective, such as the contrast between human and machine decision-making. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries occur in several places. For example, “Many people believes” should have a plural verb, and “machines runs” has the same agreement problem. In “the only human being commuting inside will be travellers,” the noun phrase is awkwardly formed, while “the money can later be invest” has an incorrect verb form. Review subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and proofread punctuation and capitalization to improve control.
