Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, all cars, buses, trucks are mostly like to become advance. There is a possibility of these vehicles getting driverless and only involving passengers inside. I believe its advantages are greater because of people getting relief from long tiring drives and not relying on any humanly figure.
There are several disadvantages associated with future vehicles to be driverless. One major drawback is people will get rely on the technical system which sometimes might end up a person get frustrated due to the lack. Technical issues like engine problem, steering wheel issues or other things like that which can't be fixed by machine itself might get pessengers into trouble.
Another disadvantage for it is safety concerns. Due to the vehicles being driverless, there are higher chances of vehicles getting a stopped at any certain point or get into an accidents due to the machinery problem. For example, a driverless bus getting a technicle issue will be stopped in between the path. As a result, passengers are going to end up panicking.
However, I believe advantages are more significant. One major benefit is drivers will get free from the long tiring driving. This will help them get relief as driving may get them issues like backpain, headaches and tiredness as driving needs a proper focus.
Another important advantage for driverless vehicles is that some chores don't need to be relied on drivers. Hiring a driver for childern to pick them up or asking a particular person to drop somewhere. Issues like this at homes or workplaces will get vanished after driverless vehicles. For instance, a mom who is busy with chores at home will send a driverless car to pick her childern up from school. Therefore, most of the people are going to be less stressed.
In conclusion, although driverless vehicles have negative effects, I believe that its advantage outweigh it disadvantages due to the break from driving and people getting more relaxed for their work being done without relying on a human source.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction and conclusion: you believe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. You address both sides and give relevant examples, including a bus stopping because of a technical fault and a parent sending a car to collect children. These examples help explain your points, and the discussion of reduced driving fatigue is relevant. This meets the task well, with some elements developed more fully than others. In particular, the disadvantages are mainly described as technical failure and passenger anxiety, while the advantages receive more explanation. To strengthen the response further, explain the likely scale or consequences of these risks and develop how driverless transport could reduce stress beyond the examples given.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for disadvantages and advantages, and a conclusion that restates your view. Signposting such as “One major drawback,” “However,” and “In conclusion” makes the direction of the argument easy to follow. However, some links between ideas are mechanical, and a few references are unclear. For example, “Another disadvantage for it” does not identify the vehicle idea precisely, while “Issues like this” refers broadly to several different situations. The technical-problem paragraph also repeats the same point about vehicles stopping. Use more precise referencing and connect each example directly to the claim it supports; this would make the progression smoother and less repetitive.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “driverless,” “technical system,” “safety concerns,” and “passengers.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “long tiring drives” and “machinery problem.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less natural. Examples include “humanly figure,” “get rely on,” “a stopped,” and “human source”; spelling errors such as “pessengers,” “technicle,” and “childern” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural transport-related collocations and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise phrases such as “depend on a human driver” and “experience a technical failure.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “which,” and “although.” This allows you to express causes, examples, and contrast, and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, and articles. For instance, “all cars, buses, trucks are mostly like to become advance” has an unclear structure, while “people will get rely” and “a driverless bus getting a technicle issue will be stopped” are not grammatically well formed. There are also errors in “its advantage outweigh it disadvantages.” Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking articles and plural forms, then proofread complex sentences to ensure each clause is complete.
