Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the modern era, the topic of driveless vahicle for future has become hotly debated issue. while many people argue that this advancement in technology can brings clear benefit, others worry about its consequences on human. However, I firmly believe that the disadvantages of this trend outweigh its advantages. This essay will discuss both perspectives before reaching a reasoned conclusion.
On the one hand, I would argue that the driving of vahicles without drivers will be negative development. The primary drawback of this trend will be that it increases the risk of accidents. This means, the cars generated by artificial intellegence will completely control by computers which can be more dangerous. Although computers and Ai are very advance and work efficiently, completely rely on automated cars wil be negative development.
On the other hand, some people support this perspective. This is because, driverless cars will be less costly than manual ones. A clear illustrations of this is that when we travel with drivers, we could pay for the fuel as well as for the drivers. Ultimately, travel in automated vahicles can save money and people only pay for the fuel.
To sum up, analyzing both viewpoints shows that both perspectives have strong arguments. Although the advancement in technology and travel without drivers has less cost, driving with human is more safe and easy. People can expr

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a position—that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages—and include a relevant point on each side: accident risks and possible savings on driver costs. However, the response only partially fulfils the task because these ideas are very briefly explained and the conclusion is unfinished (“People can expr…”). The claim that computer-controlled cars may be dangerous needs a clear explanation or example, while the cost argument is not weighed against the risks. Your conclusion also says both sides have strong arguments without clearly reaffirming why the disadvantages prevail. The response is 25 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your reasoning. Extend each main point with specific support and complete the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding section. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand” and “To sum up” help identify the stages of the argument. However, progression is limited: the first body paragraph repeats that driverless vehicles are a negative development without developing the reason, and the second begins “some people support this perspective,” although it introduces the opposing view. Some linking is also awkward or inaccurate, as in “This means” and “Ultimately,” where the relationship between the ideas is not fully clear. The final sentence is cut off, weakening the ending. Build a clearer sequence within each paragraph: claim, explanation, example, and link back to your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “artificial intelligence,” “automated cars,” “accidents” and “fuel,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form and collocation errors make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “driveless vahicle,” “intellegence,” “advance,” and “a clear illustrations.” Phrases such as “consequences on human” and “the driving of vahicles without drivers” are also imprecise. Aim to use accurate, natural combinations rather than repeating “driverless” and “negative development.” Proofread spelling carefully and learn topic-specific phrases such as “road safety risks,” “operating costs” and “automated transport systems.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a contrast clause beginning “Although computers and Ai are…” and a sentence with “This is because.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “this advancement in technology can brings” has incorrect verb form, while “the cars … will completely control by computers” is missing the passive construction “be controlled.” There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “a clear illustrations” and “accidents. This means.” The final sentence is incomplete. Practise accurate passive forms and subject–verb agreement, and check each sentence for a complete main clause, correct articles and punctuation.
